I've actually seen la scalas but both times I've seen them locally they weren't hooked up. My good friend actually used to have a pair, I'll have to ask him what happened to em.

Just search for "tube sockets" on there. They have 8-pin, 9-pin, 4-pin...pretty much all the common ones. Got me curious though, what are you building/replacing? there are some Klipsch Fortes going very cheap on ebay right now and the guy is willing to drive to Tulsa which is only 2 hours from myself. Just seeing what my options are .

well I mean, there is something that you place the tubes in yes? I tried googling for the same setup you have but it only brings up the tubes not the block things that actually house the tubes. You see what I'm trying to say?

I've never really read into media boxes but I can probably point you in the right direction. I love Armin Van Buuren, he has his on show on XM radio called "A State of Trance" that I like to listen to every week. Granted it's not really him doing the mixing but still he hosts it, lol. Kuffdam and Plant is also good I like them, uhh infected Mushroom, Paul Oakenfold, ATB, Tiesto is ok I suppose.

whenever I had my focals the tweeters were extremely harsh. Very very bright and in your face. The 6.5's had very nice midbass though, you could hear the plucking of the bass notes(I was listening to an aerosmith cd). For the price I paid(175) it wasn't bad at all but I'm sure the Morels sound a lot nicer.
