OMFG this is for dennis and Sean I road my friends mountain bike today and god damn it was so much pucking fun. I had totally forgot he was hardcore into mountain biking(I haven't seen him in months) but he has a really really expensive bike. It's a Specialized rockhopper frame but everything else is upgraded. I got to learn how to do clip in pedals tonight and man that was interesting but I caught on quickly. His bike is a soft tail as well, and man I'm not so sure if I like how it felt it's def something to get used to. His gear shifted so smooth too, he said it was like a 5-600 dollar gear setup. Man I've got the bug now, I've got to buy a bike. Oh he also gave me the case I bought for a carputer a long long long time ago, it's been sitting at his house for over a year. Not sure if I'm gonna even start that project.

gonna try and get some sleep, oh and I see ramos . Oh well, take over morning hoppers.

Yeah I know, I really need to get to bed though....I've been stayin up way to late these past few days. I've been burning both ends of the candle stick if you know what I mean.

Yes sealed is generally what people refer to as SQ oriented. I've heard some nice ported setups though with that extra output .

I would love for my truck to look like that. I used to have that picture saved to my hard drive but I can't find it so I had to use the screen shot I took. I almost bought those rims too and I have a 4"/6" drop that's been sitting in my garage for a year now.

I will. I talked with him last night actually (his g/f was in the hospital she's fine), and they said they have a tv stand and really the only thing we'd need is a couch. I think I've found a chair I just don't want to get something gimp. I like to have decent items but not top of the line by any means.

So would this be better for SPL use or SQ or could it really be applied for both purposes? I'm an SQ person, don't care for SPL really.

Well the dampening was actually just thrown on their b/c the resin was still wet and I needed a way to carry it to my car without getting stuck to it, which i did anyways. The resin inside the box makes sure that all seams are completely airtight and strengthens the mdf. hmmm, never done that before. Do you do that and put caulk around the seems as well? Or does resin suffice?

I've never seen dampening put on top of the box. What exactly is the purpose for resin being inside of a box again?

well it's easy to figure out a cube in that givin space since you gave us the width and the length. I can figure out the height needing to be 6.35. Now what you need to find out is what the optimal box size is for that particular sub and see if you have enough room for that said sub. for reference, I use a 1.2^3 box in between my seats. I believe Jntar and gosh I forgot that guys name that I bought my focals from(I know it's horrible) but we all use 1.2^3 for our subs. Except they both run Mags and I'm using a JBL GTI. I've had a 2^3 box net tuned at 33hz in my truck before but it was so damn big.
