  2. well just for something to sound nice you don't have to do something that complicated. I don't think my skills for buildling boxes is up to part with home audio is what I'm trying to say.
  3. holy cow that's hott
  4. do you like the ride you have? I have the same kit as you and was wondering if you have bumpsteer or anything.
  5. steve picked a lot of good bands: linkin park, metallica, thrice(<3), the who, and pantera - walk for sure. That song is sick.
  6. tis why I don't want to get into H/T really, that looks like a lot of work to build a box compared to CA.

  12. Guys, my Ti just got really really really loud like wow it hurts loud. I put it back in my 2.0^3 tuned @ 33hz box but have the port pointing towards my firewall and good god it's freakin loud. The gains are set to only be pushing out 700 watts or so(trust me, more than enough). Just wow, I can't believe the output of it now, it still sounds like poo but I'm gonna build the right box for it eventually. just wanted to update, ROE porn soon
  13. Hey guys I've been doing some research on other forums about home audio and the boxes look so much harder to build than CA stuff. Seriously, does anyone here have exp buildilng boxes for HT stuff? I stummbled across a couple forums that have used RL-P's for their setup and hopefully someone can help me but I'm just wondering if any of you guys have ever tackled something like this before.
  14. I just stummbled upon a forum for people talking about HT stuff. Came across this in some dudes sig, now this dude is serious and all I can say is "holy sh1t" http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread....threadid=382619

I noticed a braking difference moving to 20's with 285/50/20 tires. I can't imagine how bad it sucks to hit the brakes with 28's. BTW, 28's look kind of gay on that.......maybe a different vehicle but it's to big for me.
  17. yeah see I want bass but I don't want it so loud that it's shaking stuff of my walls. I'll try a big enclosure and tune it to 20hz I suppose and just throw a 500 watt plate amp on it. Who wants to give me box plans
  18. yeah I just googled it and man it has some nice reviews. Looks like it's a little out of my price range though.....lol
  19. I'm thinking about buying an RLP 15" for my home audio needs. I've always wanted to try SS audio and just haven't gotten around to it but what better way then HT! My question is how much power does this thing need to sound good in an HT setup? I read from a different thread that anywhere from 2.0^3's to 4.0^3's tuned from 17hz to 20hz will be best so within that range of box specs, how much power will it need?
  20. How do you like your denon dvd player and if you don't mind me asking what model is it?
  21. My ti hits hard, it just sounds like poo doing it. I want it to sound better =(.
  22. i just like your avatar pic.....happy burfday man
  23. I didn't have a left nut to spend on a receiver and didn't want something used. /shrug this does just fine for what I need it for.
  24. it was 280 before tax, after tax it was like 300. I found some reviews of it on some website I think it's ZDnet maybe? Got pretty good reviews and the only thing above it is a model that costs 500 dollars. Didn't feel like spending that much on something I'm not really that big into, just wanted a nice budget receiver that would compliment the herseys .
