  1. People do this all the time. Nothing strange about it.
  2. Use a real image host please. Myspace sucks ass.
  3. Unless he ordered it with the universal option, it will be impossible to recone it to a DVC2. And you'll have to take it apart to check the gap on it to tell if its a universal motor.
  4. Only one topic is needed. Did you check the Sticky in the Incriminator forum for your answer?
  5. Type the number into google
  6. Without a specific DC Audio subwoofer, we can't compare anything.
  7. Most people use the Stinger Volt Meter. It comes in blue or red. As far as wiring goes, 4awg is good up to 150A or around 1500w. While headroom is nice, 4awg will be fine for your application.
  8. A lot of the parsing code was broken in the transfer to the new software. Rather than have more down time, mark opted to fix the posts while the site was up (which is why it's a little slower). The posts may get fixed eventually, but in the meantime, you can take the letters/numbers that used to be a video and paste them behind this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=numbers/stuffgoeshere

  11. x4 I'm now buying Pierce Audio subs, but wanna know if the eD amps are worth keepin around. Does this look like the guts of an amp you'd want to keep? That's the nine.1
  12. Burn CD. Rip CD that should take care of it.
  13. The amp could be blown. If you're getting good voltage on both the remote and the power wire, then look to the amp as the culprit.
  14. Can't really tell you anything without some more information.
  15. A better way would be to use a DMM to find the spot that has a 0 ohm resistance.
  16. Use the specs for the DP21 as a reference. Obviously the Wardens are quite a bit different, but this will get you close. # Sealed Not Recommended # Ported 7.5 cubes - 10.0 cubes, 90 - 160 Inches of Port, 32-37 Hz # Average: 8.5 cubes, 120 inches, 32-37 Hz
  17. You can buy NEW BTL's from Fi's website. You do not have enough posts to use SSA's classifieds section.
  18. It's a 1000w sub woofer for christsake. Use 12awg.
  19. If you're wanting power at two ohms, don't pay for an amp that does power at 1 ohm. Look into a Kicker product as most of their amps are stable down to 2 ohms.
  20. You're pretty much screwed with that combo. Wire it like that until you can get an amplifier that is stable at 2 ohms.
  21. Home Depot sells a synthetic cable "lube". That works quite well in tight places.
  22. No. Even if your subwoofer was DVC4 ohm, the best you can do is a final 2 ohm load. Posting your model numbers of the subwoofer and amplifier would help us help you. More information the better.
