  1. I'm looking for something for my rears in my apartment. I want something that curves up over my couch to shoot down. I don't want to mount anything to the walls because then I have nasty wires. Remember the Best Buy Bose demo with those curved ones in the rear? Something like that would be schweet. PE doesn't have anything like that and ebay is being coy.
  2. we're all biased.. most of us use eclipse. if you could get the pioneer P9 combo though...
  3. titties!
  4. Either that or a FM thingie.
  5. Disconnect at the amp maybe? You don't use the same box for multiple subs do you?
  6. You actually can have to low of a remote voltage. that's why people use the relay to bolster the original signal. Radioshack has them, I'm not sure of the exact part number. But most 12v relays that split one incoming signal to two or more others will work.
  7. It basically adds a power distro to the mixture. The main remote line only really has enough juice for turning on around 2 amps. The relay adds more power to the line. Here's what you do. The relay has several pins on it, one of the pins you wire the existing remote too. Another recieves constant power from the battery (new little line). There are several outputs on it as well. Those go to the amps. Just ups the out put of the remote basically.
  8. I think I just wet myself.
  9. Thats a great looking box. Those drivers are pretty beastly too.
  10. errr college in another state. Figured rather than have her cheat on me while she's gone, it would just be better to end it quick. meh, at least it was my call.
  11. Don't ask for more. A man's gotta keep a few things for himself.
  12. No plans for my rice rocket this winter... but come summer.. Saving up for the RSX-R (integra type r - japan) engine for my grocery getter. about $7k for the swap.
  13. I'll be supplying prizes. If there's enough interest.. We'll do a raffle ($2-3/ticket), and if not.... well, then I'll give away some RCA's or something.
  14. It's good for cleaning me out. Are you gonna come?
  15. So in an effort to make a smaller box, inverting would be ideal?
  16. It would be in North or Mid Scottsdale. Both places are decently close to the 101 though. Either one, I have supreme power over.. since I work there.
  17. I can get us pro audio amps. and then I have my ARC too. That'll do 1245@4ohms. Or again, I can get a 3k pro amp... we may need a truck to help me move the stuff, Or I have a place I can host at.
  18. I deal more with Electrical problems and installation cleanliness as well as safety. Advanced car audio topics are lost on me.
  19. heh, I dont need lots of deebeez. I just want ssss que beez.
  20. see those are the questions I need to know. Pros and cons if you will.
  21. I'm trying to figure out the main differences between inverting a sub or flush mounting it like normal. I don't know if there is sonic difference or if the main theory behind it is to just show off the backside of the driver. I've got two DPL's that I'm going to use sealed. I was thinking around 1.5^3ft each.. but if there is a way to go smaller without sacrificing SQ I could go for that too. They'll each be on a separate channel on my ARC Audio 2500CXL (rated at a conservative 270x2 @ 4ohms). My max dimensions to work with in my trunk are 16Tx26Dx35W. Of course, going smaller would be a plus.
  22. Big (ugly) boobs brittany
