The BTL isn't like a regular sub. You can still refer to what Fi recommends in the stickies in this forum for it though. Generally, people who buy the BTL know what to do with it box wise.. it's a pretty intense sub. -

For one it's a current hog, secondly it'll probably at the very most put out 2000w.

Mark was on a budget. But we got pretty great gear that fits his needs. Unfortunately he's still a HTIB guy. Maybe we can build a sub though.

That won't cause a problem like that. If you unplugged the RCA's and the noise went away, it's undoubtedly a head unit problem.

The BTL is the kind of sub where T/s does next to nothing in helping you design an enclosure.

I don't think Fi would invest that much time and money into something that was only a little better than the previous generation.
So no Sub sonic filter and you're clearly clipping the subs. I think we found our problem.
Where is your subsonic filter set at?

I'd venture to guess that something in your installation is seriously fucked. Did you ever figure out what happened with that Audioque that you blew up when strapped??

your links are bad. But I would never run anything Hifonics on an ICON.
Also on the note of dropping gauges sizes.. everytime you do so, fuse that smaller wire.
