  1. 3 Q 12's will be easier to fit in your trunk too. You're starving those BL's as it is now.
  2. 200-250A 16v alternator and 4-6 large batteries should be fine. I know Kinetic has a 16V batt, as does Powermaster and Turbostart.

So which one did you end up getting?
  4. That should be a pretty big difference imo. If you had a difference of 100-200w, probably not. But you're almost doubling the power to the sub.
  5. What ohm load is the 40.1 running at?

Chill son. No one was mocking you, your post didn't make any sense. So I said something. Can't help you if no one understands you. And no, the universal option doesn't let the user switch back and forth at will. It simply means the gap where the voice coil sits is larger to accomodate the D1 and the D2 coil. If you got the D2 option, it automatically comes with the universal option. The D1 gap is the tighter gap, and you must add universal to it to allow you to switch to a D2 coil if you want in the future.
  7. You can't ever have too much power... well unless you suspension can't handle the battery bank.
  8. aye, what sub is it?
  9. Here you go compadre. Right from the sticky in the technical section. http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...?showtopic=7153 A few parts still correspond to the previous gen BTL, but most of them are the same.
  10. Just make sure you seal the trunk up real good so there are no leaks where you don't want them.
  11. Moving to Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical Since this isn't a Sundown question.
  12. if you're worried about glue all over the place, I would send them to Fi. A recone isn't a beginners task.
  13. How much space do you really have in the town car? Ported boxes for Dual 18's or Dual 15's are quite large.

    Your post makes no sense.
  15. Was the one on the right the reconed one? How does it sound now?
  16. Not necessarily. Xmax is a factor, but not the determining one. edit: damn you sean.
  17. I like the Kicker stuff too, but ultimately, you'll need something that draws the least amount of current since you aren't upgrading your alt.
  18. Looks like you give up a lot of EQ bands. Not that you'd need the 31/27 that the RF offers.. but its still nice to be able to tweak infinitely. 8-10 should be sufficient. You still have time alignment though, so thats nice. I didn't know about those amps, good find.
  19. oh... I've never messed with that amplifier before. The 360.2 has a TON of EQ and of course the bluetooth feature is awesome. The H701 has more features than I can list easily. I should probably just go look up that amp.. thinking aloud here.
  20. oh.. I noobed that one up. The Flatlyne is the only one I looked at and the pics were going through severe jpeg compression. The other ones look great!
  21. You'll wanna check these out then: http://www.xtremekreations.com/fabrication.html I'll be doing these in my 2005 Tacoma.
