  1. I am going to buy 2 Power Acoustik MOFO-12 1200WRMS subs. Here are the specs: 3" BASV/Kapton hybrid 18A SPL: 90db Fs: 36.7 Hz VAS: .73 cu.ft. Qms: 5.34 Qes: .36 Qts: .3363 xmax: .7" I'm looking at a Sonic sub box 2BA12 3.0 cu.ft. 2-4"ports in each enclosure ( I assume 1.5cu.ft per enclosure) Does this sound like a good box for these subs? How do I use these specs to tune the amp ( Hifonics 950W@1ohm, sub dual 1ohm coils will be wired in series then paralleled)? Would a sealed box be better? If so, how many cu.ft.?
  2. What is a signal processor? How much? Why would you need one?
  3. Thanks for the info. There are pre-amp outs on the head I just didn't know all RCA outs were low level. I have a Tahoe and going to drive the door spkrs w/the 300W alpine daisy-chain a Hifonics 2000W mono to drive 2 Power Acoustik 1200W 12" subs at 1Ohm. Sound good? Any suggestions or hints?
  4. Using the head outs will defeat the purpose of the 4-channel amp. Correct?
  5. The amp has line out RCA's, isn't that different than pre-amp out to daisy chain. Isn't line level voltage much higher ?
  6. I want to use the line out from an Alpine MRP F300 amp to temporarily (1-2mos.) power a mono amp for subs until I get a head w/sub pre-outs. Any suggestions for a good reasonably priced one. This is very temporary. Also, will doing this affect the 4-channel speaker outs of the amp?
