Thanks for all the input guys, I appreciate it. You might be getting the wrong idea of "feel", though, I'm not really looking for something that's going to be heard down the block. I just want the inside of the car to vibrate a bit, you know? I might have got the wrong impression, but my friend drives a new Altima and he has a JL W7 12'', I think, might even be 10. He's running 500w and his hits great, not ridiculous thump but you can definitely feel the music and the mirrors shake a bit. I'm going to look into that SSD, chad, but I think I might do like the others said and just seal the Q and save up for a 1000wrms amp later on. But, do you guys think 500w sealed Q will keep me happy for the meantime, based on what I've said so far?

Hey, I'm planning on buying a 12'' Fi Q sub, and I was wondering what type of box would be good for me... I have a polk/momo c500.1. I was planning on getting the dual 1ohm to run 500rms to the sub. I'm looking for good SQ(obviously why I'm getting the Q) but I want to be able to feel that chit in my back if I want to, lol. It's going in an older 4DR BMW. Any help would be appreciated, thanks. If you need anymore info, I'll answer as best I can.
