I've been doing research on home subs and the prices are outrageous so i figured i'd try out a custom setup and incorporate a 10" or 12" fi q. anyone ever set one up at home? i want BIG car like bass( if possible) it'll be used for 60% music, 30% movies, and 10% gaming. what size box should be used? ported? sealed? also would an amp like this work? http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.c...tnumber=245-435

When i say keep up i mean i don't want the bass to drown everything else out. the 800 is strictly for comps and amp. i'm getting it installed at a shop. i was quoted $1500 to install the comps, 2 amps, hu, fully deadened doors, and battery out back.

sorry to leave you guys hanging and forgetting to reply. due to some money issues i couldn't get anything right away.. but i got a good deal on a nightshade and saz1500. gonna go pick it up tonight do you guys have any experience with pa drivers? wanna try 2 8's in the rear deck as opposed to 6x9's

anyone in the ny area have any of these setups i can hear?
