  1. why not a single maw15 in the trunk? or any single, better manufactured, sub over teh multipule crunch? box build will be way easier, and if using the right sub/enclosure/power, will still get low and loud. and probably sound better and last longer. with roughly $200 for a sub (going by the $65 price tag and 3 x 10 comments), there are quite a few options. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  2. ya thats about how it is here plenty of traffic comin from the east My cousin and her fiancee live in southern louisiana and on their way out of town on saturday a lady ran a stop light and hit them and totaled the car. The lady didn't have insurance or even a driver's license. I'd be so pissed off. we pulled over at least 10 vehicles from louisiana last night. all but two used the gustav excuse. and while i sympathize with them, they were well over 9 hours away from the hurricane, and unless the hurricane will traget them individually, well out of danger. there is absolutely no need to be doing 80-85mph in a 65mph zone that far away from the damn storm. the two that didn't use the hurricane as an excuse (one a truck with quite a bit of their belongings in it) didn't get a ticket, everyone else did. we did let one guy off the hook for driving down to louisiana to help his step kids evacuate. kinda makes sense to be in a hurry going that direction. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  4. Shit, I haven't had any pussy since March, and I used to well, everyone knows my stories. . . I still can't bring myself to stick it to the woman, and I can't seem to be able to screw another chick either knowing the mother of my child is waiting at home. Damn this shit. Bah just do it, take some viagra and smoke up, then tear it up. that'll do, that'll do!! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  5. sounds good..where's the pics?? wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  6. do tell! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  7. i hope you're right. i'm just repeating what my guy at the gun shop told me when i bought my mkIII. he steered me towards the regular mkIII, which is cheaper, because of the frame to reciever issue. speaking of guns, i purchased my duty shotgun today. a winchester 1200, with custom 19" barrel. i also bought a custom 19" barrel for my 20g mossberg 500. $165 out the door for both, and i'd say more, but you never know who's reading, lol. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  8. obviously you have never sat in ///M5's truck, lol. LOUD, clean and very accurate. while my substage killed his, his blended very well, was hard to pinpoint and reached low. his mid and tweets? you'd understand ozzy "talking" in his truck, lol. thyat's how clear it is. sorry neon, i just had too... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  9. watch the grip frame on the 22/45. i steered away from it due to the fact it can come loose with heavy use. you'll notice a wobble between grip frame and reciever. otherwise, i love my mkIII!!! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  10. And what are the answers? death row will never be overpopulated $100 steers and queers all look alike from the back $200 everybody has a gun and will tell you about that $300 jerry jones, jesus and the dallas cowboys all come from texas $400 and the double jeopardy... george w is what you get when trailer park meets oil magnate $500 that was lame and i ran out of things to say. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  11. mine was issued in '02, expires in 2051 so when I'm 65 I've gotten some weird looks from that too lol WTF? I have to get one every 5 years and it costs me $80. Have to get it yearly here & it is 25 a shot. what? damn. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  12. why would they rate it at one ohm if it's not stable there? i'll wager those people don't have the electrical to keep up and what is happening is a voltage drop. my ma audio hk4000d was the same way. voltage drop below 9.5 or so, amp was off. and audiopipe makes decent stuff. i've used some in the past, (love the wire) and have no issues. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  13. that's what i found out about it. so i'd say yeah, you can go 1 ohm on it. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  14. mine was issued in '02, expires in 2051 so when I'm 65 I've gotten some weird looks from that too lol WTF? I have to get one every 5 years and it costs me $80. $80 for 5 years?? damn!! ours expires every 3 to 5, depending upon driving record. safer drivers go longer between expirations. but it's only $15. i'd love to go 40+years and not worry about renewing. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  15. i could sport that. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  16. i think mine is good until 2011 as well. unless i get no tickets for awhile, then i can get up to a 5 year extension. should be easy enough with the new job, lol. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  17. 24s?? you not grown up with just 24s. 24s are for cars. if you aint on 26s, no need for you to show up. and no, you still don't upgrade the brakes, lol. tom, we pulled over a arizona driver tonight. he was just short of 21, but his liscense gave an expiration date of 2052. 2052? just how long are you guys issued a driver's liscense? wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Until...2200? Flying cars or go home. lol, even the dispatcher was like, "2052? does it look real?" he got his ticket, 95 in a 65. poor geo storm was overload and smokin more then my partner. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  19. i love our cooper s. we are talking about adding another one to the family and letting the boy have the current one. it's definitely a big, fun, fast and quick go cart. and with the 6 spd, it's just too much fun. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee I've always thought those would be fun little cars, but I'm not sure how practical it would be for me. I'm 6'3" so not only would I question how well I'd fit, but half the reason I got my SUV was so that I wouldn't feel like i'm lifting myself off of the ground every time I get out, or vice versa for getting in. That's a long way for me to crouch down to get into every day. With my Explorer I basically slide right in without having to drop my hips. I love it. i'm 6'2" and 228pds. i fit fine. the doors are huge, the seats go waaay back and it doesn't give off the feeling of being as low to the ground as it actually is. my son is 5'8", and sitting behind my wife, he has plenty of room. in short, it's not a family car, but can do a short bit of duty and it's not as hard to get in and out of as one might think. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  21. Winchester white box is only $30 per 100 rnds at Wally world. If my 1911 wasn't in pieces right now I'd pick some up. Probably will still pick some up. Ammo prices are only climbing with the price of copper. I quit buying Blazer unless I can't find anything else. Eventually I'll start relaoding so I usually collect my brass. Can't reload the Blazer Al cases. Bass Pro had Hornady JHP for $17/25 for .45 and $18/25 for 9mm. Got 4 boxes of each last night. Going back today to pick up a plinking gun. Trying to decide between the SIG Mosquito or a S&W 22A. The S&W is a standard .22 target pistol complete with full length optics rail. The SIG is built on the same platform as all the normal SIG handguns so I think it would make a better practice pistol. Need to find someone local to sand blast my 1911 frame so I can Gun Kote it. Replacing a lot of the wear items and bringing it away from GI spec a bit. Replacing the trigger, the mainspring and housing, the grip safety, the sear spring and adding an ambi safety. Been shooting so long left handed with a right handed gun that working the safety on the SR9 the correct way has taken some getting used to. Got new grips for it last night. Pachmayr rosewood panels with the rubber grip panel that wraps across the front strap. They look really nice. Much nicer than the cheap plastics that came with the gun. Need to finalize my Brownells order with all my parts. make sure it's not a first gen mosquito, heard stories about it not being reliable. i've wanted one since they came out, but the early version steered me away. i just recently picked up a ruger mkIII for a plinker. the targert version comes with a rail to add on, which i did, and it currently sports a barska red dot. i might be trying to wheel and deal for a walther p22 though. add another plinker!! the blazer al i picked up for my mandatory 40hr course to be an LEO. not worried about reloading it, and on can't even find WWB for a .45acp that cheap here locally. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  22. http://ammunitiontogo.com/catalog1/product...23-556-fmj-ammo $.20 a rd before shipping....and in my saiga, bear (wolf, whatever) is good ammo, lol. it'll shoot anything! maybe not sub-moa, but it'll bang plates all day long! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  23. only problem with shotgun for home is recoil. and for a beginner, that recoil can spell the end of shooting. that said, most everyone has shot a shotgun at one point or another in their life. ammuntiontogo.com is your friend! i just picked up 500rds of 45acp (cci blazer aluminum) for $165 shipped to my door. got it in two days. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  24. the full size in the g30 would only be for emergency use, the standard 10rd will be in place. also, by using the full size w/out sleeves, i'll have even more capacity for the primary. meaning in case of a large shoot out, i should be good to go, lol. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  25. only use the tip of the finger in SA pull, in TRUE (meaning not the DAO stuff claimed by glock, s&w and other striker fired firearms) DA mode, you want the finger to be on the trigger at the first joint. you can still squeeze, and it offers more control due to the higher pull weight in DA mode over just a tip. a tip in true SA mode (which is how most DAO polymers, read striker fired, actually work IMHO) is better due tot he fact you have more "feel" in the tip and because it's a much lighter pull, the tip is plenty strong enough. dem beats, look into the XD, or any pistol that offers an interchangable backstrap (XD, m&p and certain h&ks to name a few). that should go a long way into fitting your hand. the h&ks, IIRC, also offer interchangleable grip panels to thicken, or thin up, the grip. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
