  2. lol...oh what you don't know... muhahahahahahaha wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  3. and gee...if you would have just stated that..... would there had even been an issue? nope. but your still not seeing my point. you stated a definite. teh sx is drop in 0.9db louder. ok? can you hear 0.9db? nope. that is the issue. the point i'm trying to make. that statement will just go to confuse ppl who don't know xplod from mobile es. and in street beating, 0.9db means what? squat. see my point now? wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  4. but in a coversation about street beating, where every tenth DOESN'T count..that statement is moot... also..in street beating, it isn't necessarily the sub that can get the loudest, but rather, the sub that can play the lowest. why? low notes are perceived to be louder. not too mention, all the shaking that goes along with a deep playing combo is also taken as how loud it's getting. smae box, same car and same power....drop in an xxx, drop in an sx..i'll wager that noone can "hear" the 0.9db...no meter. so how is it louder again, street beating? wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

yeah... or like adrian mentioned after this... jsut have the guy do it. tell him what you want it tuned too... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  7. doesn't matter.... your not going to hear 0.9db. so unless you are competeing, that gain is useless. for street, the xxx would be just as loud and sound a whole lot better (in theory, would definitely have lots less distortion). wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  8. i'm out.. the better half is getting pissy about me being online... and i wanna get laid later... *poof* wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  9. ok...now you remeber that the boy's cabinets are dayton 7" alum mids and hifi 1" textile dome tweeter...dunno if your thinking a factory bookshelf system or not... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee "Bookshelf" and "high efficiency" generally are mutually exclusive terms true..but that's what he has...kinda... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

i'll have to try the FG... he's talking about 1.6 per= choking.. maybe... true, but he'd be losing some anyway. they would sound ton's better, IMO, in at least 2.25-2.5ft^3 sealed..... idea... buy a single 15 , but it in the 3.2ft^3 box, but ported. that would be serious wangage! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  21. jim... do tube amps have a natural hiss when playing full range? i didn't notice the hiss from the 300c until i ran my boy's mt cabinets on it. the hiss doesn't get louder as the volume goes up, but there is a bit of "distortion" throughout that the cabinets don't exhibit when played on his bookshelf... 9... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
