exactly... if the impedence is matched, ie; say your amp does 250 x 2 @ 2ohm and 500 x 1 @ 4ohm...you get the same power regardless of wiring in stereo or mono. the only thing you might notice, your car will like you better at 4 ohm then 2 ohm. but at that low of power levels, you car won't even be affected. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

go bigger then jl recommended for best all around performance... took a 12w6 outa the 1.75 recommend ported box, put it in 2.5 cubes, twice as much port area and it came alive! is the 13 worth the extra $90? up to your friends wallet wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

you could get away with 2 cubes sealed, but no way tuned that low. i'd suggest the larger enclosure, 4 cubes, 35-50in^2 of port (depending if you go round or slot) and tuned in the low 20's. i'd think anywhere from 250-500wrms would really kick the hell outa your home too..lol... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
