Okay, I'll roll with you since you've owned both, but I need you to elaborate on the bow tie. Are there things that broke on your Ram? Is it the way it drives? yep..tranny twice...once at 19k and then it went into random downshifting that could never be cured....until after i traded it in and the chevy dealership fixed it. headlight switch went into a random mode, even after replacing it. front end is actually a bear to align if the camber needs to be adjusted. has to be taken apart. lifts are fairly expesive for a solid axle truck, same year chevy's are jsut as cheap to lift the same height. did i mention the crappy gas mileage? and with that u get less power then the other trucks. nope, i'll never own dodge again, unless it's cummins powered. even the new hemi reeks IMO in the trucks...i'll spend the few extra bucks and get a truck i can trust and enjoy..not to mention will be worth more in the end. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

only get one if it has the 4:10 gear set..will snag u a few more mpg. if u get the 3:55's u will suffer with 12mpg or less....i know it's backwards, but it's the truth. my 2001 with 3:55's and the 5.9ltr got 12mpg if i did the speed limit...my buddy has owned two of that vintage, both with the 5.9 and 4:10's..he gets 14 doing a lil more then the speed limit. personally, i'd spend a little more and get the bowtie... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

that sucks...sorry to hear that dave... i got the estimate back on my harley day before yesterday (70 year old ran a stop sign in front of me and i had to lay it down)...$7400, not counting the custom paint. i have to get a seperate estimate for that. talk about sticker shock...lol.. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

i gots to go to work...never did get the display done...too busy in the install bay... did put three 15" memphis pr's in about 7 cubes tuned 35hz or so in a lincoln towncar....knocked all the rust off the inner fenders under the car...
