RL-p 15 Enclosures
3.5ft^3 per is the max listed size... a couple of things..... the big enclosure will allow the suspension to move more with the power. so, u'll displace more air. but, like u mentioned, u're going to lose some mechanical power handling ability. the bigger box will most likely cause a loss of power as impedence rises in larger enclosures. but u'll have to graph it and see where the spike comes in.... and i think u'll lose a bit of ur sq in the larger box. but then again, i like to build my enclosures on the smallish side anyway.... and in ur explorer (i saw where u were getting an 01 sport) ur going to benefit from the vehicles transient response, in short, ur going to be loud as hell anyway....lol... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Looking for some new 6.5
i wouldn't think 150 per pair would blow the crossovers... but again, i'd look into the sq x-overs...they are biampable and of course built a bit better... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

I forgot you played with the proto. My bad. lol... IIRC, it was u who told me it wouldn't perform at it's best in the 2.5ft^3 i played it in...u said 3ft^3minimum for ported enclosure and u were correct. while it did a respectable job in the 2.5ft^3 enclosure, i'm sure a larger one would indeed do it justice. btw, the new mag is a very clean sounding driver, easily as clean as the xxx and rl-p. of those three, the rl-p and mag drop the lowest in smaller boxes, and i mean they drop low. the xxx needs a larger sealed or ported box to run with either of these two in the lowlow department. (not saying it can't, but it does need enclosure help to do it) wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Hell, I don't remember that. It works very well in a minimum of 2.2 sealed, but damn, I had my old one in 3 cubes vented and it sounded horrible. Funny that I would suggest that. Hell, I don't know. hey, this ring a bell??? if ya want, maybe i dig up some of our IM convo's concerning it...lol... either way, no biggie..just givin ya a bit of grief... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
