  3. they are slick! i likes them! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  4. x2.. while the time alignment is sweet, it isn't the best route if going for all out sq...time alignment is kinda like a capacitor. it doesn't solve the problem, and it's no true replacement for the problem. placement is the key, followed by proper eq'ing. that being said, if ur not after all out competeing, then time alignment will probably work, with proper eq'ing. but it's the cheap way out, IMO....nothing aginst anyone using it (hell, i don't have proper staging, but nor do i care) wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  5. well??? and???? comeon with it already..... asians.... did i say that out loud?? wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  6. if ur capable of building urself, give scott (aneonrider) a buzz, he designs really nice enclosures. if ur needing one built and ur in the US, give aaron (denim) a buzz or myself...if ur in the great white north, steve (ss3079) and maybe scott can build. and if u go prefab (yucky!!!) , get the 30hz box....but u don't really wanna go prefab, do ya?? wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

and in output, the Ti's should kill. i have yet to hear a Ti setup that wasn't loud. i took second at the last comp i went to to a pair of 12" Ti's in the trunk (box i built, the bastage) of a grand prix off a pair of memphis 1500d's...(yeah, he had more power and better electrical, but i had cone area).. however, i have yet to hear a Ti setup that just flat out sounded good. all have been fairly muddy (even in the box i built) and seem to really lack the lowlow end. but they more then made up for it in sheer output. that being said, i have to say go the rl-p route as well. while i haven't heard the 05 r's, i just recently got rid of a pair of older r's, really good output with decent sq, but needed power to do it (Ti is the same way). the rl-p should keep up with the r, maybe not beat it in output, but keep up and definitely sound better. same with the Ti. and it would require less power,IME, to achieve alot of the same goals....though for sheer output, the power needs to be there. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  8. i dunno..i was hoping frosty would get in here and give me a hint...lol... looks like i gotta join a diy h/t forum.... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  9. x2 even the 6.5's in that line would be a start...(and i know where there is at least a pair of those for sale) have u thought about doing a pair of kickpanels? several people here have done those sealed and really picked up on their midbass response..... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  10. where did ya get those towes? i guess i'm not good enuff for y anow, huh? wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  11. hmmmm..no way i'd by eDuh...no matter how good it was...not off of ben anyway. maybe used from someone...but still..(and yeah, i know u like ur eDmo sub) the CMP looks good.... but if the new rl-i is as beefy as the old one....man, how could u not go that route...lol.. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  12. yeah..i'm curious too...i'd love to get a new one...give it some play time and then throw them at each other..lol... might just do that... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  13. this is damn near a sin..but i'm toying with the idea of selling my rl-i8....it's just sitting here doing nothing....and i don't know which is worse... just sitting here or selling it... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  14. jim, have u looked at my thread in general concerning a two way set up? if not...GO LOOK!!! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  16. good morning and dennis, i too am constantly surfing ebay and the classifieds..lol... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  17. i might have missed it.....is it common chambered? if so, what ur experiencing is normal.... if it's a divided box, then u have a leak between the chambers... but otherwise, i like scott's suggestions..u can pull it out and do the paper...or u can reseal while in car (if possible) wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  18. bah...both the re8 and the eDmo700 are weak.... here's a real lil sub.... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  19. if ur ports are no deeper then 4" or so, they have u tuned in the mid 40's....that's why u can't reach teh lows... to add port length to ur current box would take away port area and increase the chances for noise. if i understood u, ur ports are 3.5" wide, 11.5" tall and 4" deep, correct? that gives ya about 80.5^2" of port (both ports)...if u tried to lengthen the port ,and for arguements sake, by usind ur left over .75" mddf..ur port sizes would be 2"x10" or 40^2" for both ports. if u tried that, ur port length would need to be roughly 5.25" long to bring ya down around 36hz.... what i would suggest, is that u try by using .5" mdf....that will give you a port size of 2.5" x 10.5" or 52.5^2" of port area between the pair. make them 8.75" long.... i would make a pair of port inserts and slide them in my current ports, and give them a listen. make them removeable and if u don't like them, toss them.....or then u have a daily port setup (the inserts) and a comp set up (the original ports) wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  20. i think i'm going to stick with the tweets i picked out..they have a wider freq response. and i wanna hear what the chamber does for them...lol.. now, i need to figure out the enclosure size and tuning... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  21. the first spelling is correct..lol and lucky ass fonzi... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  22. sweetness...lol.. i need to look up those tweets u bought as well.... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  23. a pair of these tweets and a pair of these for the mid and bass duties these will be for my son's lil bookshelf system....x-overs undecided yet, might just grab a pair of car audio ones...lol.. lemme know what ya think.... and jim....hows about .5ft^3 tuned about 50hz sound for each tower? wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  24. i've got one i'll sell ya... it's an 18 wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  25. jim...no biggie...jsut thought i'd point that out...lol... the IHoP is like the unofficial crapass.com mod back room...lol... and bling bling is hilarious! be afraid, be very afraid....lol wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
