Need a partner in crime
that kicker first, if it's one ohm stable.... then the HF...i have to agree with supa and chinny..while overrated a bit, they are good amps. and get the bx1500d if ya get one... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Good Match?
500 each would be sweet. needed? not really, like supa stated, but they'll handle it, easy. for the money, HF is hard to beat. power acoustik comes to mind as a contender, as does directed and jbl. add a few more dollers to the pot and memphis pops in there, as does orion. ppl also seem to like the eD 9.1, which is just a rebadged something...it's 4:45am...gimme a break..lol... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Dual Mag 15s and Orion 2500D....
all things considered, about 2800wrms...not a huge gain from the one ohm rating. i was told that down around .33ohm, it'll do around 3kw.. and to back up nick, i've ran mine almost exclusively at .5ohm nominal daily since i've had it. it just keeps going and going and going and going and going and........ wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Zapco Vs. Diamond
zapco period. without trying to make diamond sound like junk, because i'm sure their not, zapco is a breed above most everything else. i've seen a friend's 4kw's power inputs all but get welded together and the amp never missed a beat. they are some of the strongest, best built amps money can buy. and like tirefryr stated, a zapco owner is a different breed as well. the amp kinda rubs off on them, and nothing else will do. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

hey..damn, y'all were busy up in here... work is killing me.... 12hrs yesterday, 12 hrs today, 12hrs tomorrow with an 1hr earlier start time (crybabies) and possibly 14-16hrs thrusday, as this lot has to 100% done by thrusday night. it ships friday...YAY..bastages... only good news is, that might lead to a 4 day weekend and a chance to work on a few projects.. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee- SoundSplinter bandwagon
what?? u know it was because of my constant badgering...hehe but yeah...that was totally kewl of him... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee- Sub Comparison
that's going to be a tough decision... i like both products immensely, but mike's CS at SS is above reproach. that however, has nothing to do with the sub's performance...and i really can't help ya there. i have only heard the diamonds in store and i own an rl-i 8 (and a rl-p12).....both are really nice subs. maybe someone with touch more experience with the subs can help..my vote is the rl-i for obvious reasons..lol... good luck and welcome to the forum!! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee- I AM SOOO TORN!
ummm..i have one!! and they are amazing... and would make for a wicked install.... but so would the rl-s's.. hehe..it's all about the budget! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee- First post...And Can't Decide...HELP
what about impedence for the herc? three d4 subs is going to be a wild final impedence.... the two 12" rl-p's have greater potential for being loud however, greater xmax and more cone area. however, the three 8's would be a crazy sweet install and plenty loud in their own right! and SS is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better then Eduh.... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee- RL-i8 vs. RL-i10 vs. ID8 v.3 vs. 10" Titanic
i have no experience with any of those except the rl-i8. and it should sound awesome in .25ft^3 and it will get plenty loud off the power u have. this thing moves, alot..lol.. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee- Cheap 10
memphis pr 10...thiese things get ridiculasly loud for what they are, and sound good while doing it. IME, they are louder the cvr's and sound better as well....same box, same vehicle with the same power. of course there's supa's re re... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee- Welcome to the IHoP
nick, that was some nice old fashioned wh0ring right there brah...i'm impressed!! and i'm thinking real hard about a 1969 (gotta love that year) mgb.....$5750 is the asking price. but the svo would be kewl....i can't really touch those merkurs...the friggin "owner" witht he title won't freaking respond, and i don't want him to come back at me later...hate to hurt the bastage..lol... anyway, i gotta put gas in the scotter going to work..so i'm out! see ya round daytimers... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee- SoundSplinter bandwagon
x2 and then i wanted a sub for my wife's car. i started looking around. i knew the brahma and xxx were on the short list because of all the reviews. then i found a post to soundsplinter. emailed adire, re and SS. got one email back. never have recieved one from the other two. talked to mike a few times, and said the hell with it. i remember him offering a bit of a guarantee. if i didn't like the sub, ship it back. he'd refund all but the shipping. (or something of that nature) what could i lose? $60 for shipping? i have never looked back. mike has always been honest and upfront. told me a few times he didn't think his subs were the best for what i was after (that's why there's a solo x in my truck), but the RL-s's might just change that. the rl-p was/is the best sql sub i have ever owned and it's backed by the best guy i have ever dealt with. i will never hesitate to throw his name out there. mike has proven time and time again to be the best there is to deal with online. it's funny, once upon a time, mike and i were the only ones answering SS questions. now, wow!! it's like i've really moved down the list. which is great!! i love that mike and SS have come so far, it's awesome! soon, i'll be a distant memory and mike will have a secratary answering his emails (she better be hot too!!) and i'll get to cherish the memory that i was one of the first. the neat thing is, we have all got to watch him grow, and i hope, that we get to watch him grow even more! "keep on keepin on!" wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee I just have this feeling that in some time SS will not only be doing subs, i hope they make an amp line. not anytime soon. mike is focused on subs only to help keeps his costs down, which he passes on to us. honestly, i would like to think his next venture will be into componets. that would be a nice addition to the SS family. like was mentioned, there are enough amps out there already to fulfill anyone's needs (of course the same could be said for subs /speakers) and APE, u can indeed call me kent. no need to be worthy or anything..lol.... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee- My Rl-p
fonzi...yup.... LxWxH/1728 the rl-i 8 in that computer system would be sweet!! hope u can make it work!! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee- I AM SOOO TORN!
first, find another job....lol...hang on to the money u have in case something comes up, tunes can wait. while ur waiting, save the extra dough, if possible, and get a pair of the 12" rl-s's... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee- What is going ON??
out of phase... so when u installed ur componets, u unhooked ur subs? and then hooked them back up out of phase? wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee- For The Integra
the only issue is with the 8" subs. memphis only makes one model, the mclass. while i know ur building, or at least leaning towards, an sq install, which is what the mclass 8's are designed for, i know u'll want some decent output as well. so i'd suggest the m3 10's for staying all memphis. but i really think a pair of the rl-i 8's would be sweet, or maybe a single rl-p 12 or rl-s 12 (when they come out) wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee- Supreme Series LMT Prototype Pictures
i thought it was 560 for the 15. I could be wrong though. lol..hence the IIRC hehe..i can't remember...MIKE!!!!!! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee- ugly mugs!
the pretty boy?? i'd have to vote supa...calling me a pretty boy would usually result in the offending person losing a molar or two... and tom..i think ryan has ya on "the whyteness".. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee- Welcome to the IHoP
