my story for the day? it's saturday morning, i'm on the "hinge and pull" machine (basicly, it takes 47 rd belts of ammo, stretches them to test the links and then bends them in two different directions to make sure that they are limber enough not to jam the gun)...they bring us some junk ass links, they are extrememly tight...teh machine can't grab them right...links are popping... i get so pissed, i grab one belt that was trying to feed into the machine while there was already a belt there (the 47rd belt weighs aprox. 80pds) and yank it back up the conveyor....damn near setting off the entire thing as the primers smash into the next belt coming down the line. (several primers were actually dented)...scaring everybody behind me in the bay that saw it. i was told to take a walk for a minute or 10...lol.. long story short...i got back to the machine and pretty much dealt with it all morning (we rotate stations in that particular bay) also, i'm really hating some of the ppl in the union..."that's not ur job, make the adjustor fix it "...i am an adjustor who happens to be curtailed to mca..so guess what...I CAN FIX IT!! " we get paid by the hour, not hte part"....yeah..but we are here to work, not female dog about it. and the more we work, the faster the day goes..crybabies... arrggggghhhhhh... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

x2 and then i wanted a sub for my wife's car. i started looking around. i knew the brahma and xxx were on the short list because of all the reviews. then i found a post to soundsplinter. emailed adire, re and SS. got one email back. never have recieved one from the other two. talked to mike a few times, and said the hell with it. i remember him offering a bit of a guarantee. if i didn't like the sub, ship it back. he'd refund all but the shipping. (or something of that nature) what could i lose? $60 for shipping? i have never looked back. mike has always been honest and upfront. told me a few times he didn't think his subs were the best for what i was after (that's why there's a solo x in my truck), but the RL-s's might just change that. the rl-p was/is the best sql sub i have ever owned and it's backed by the best guy i have ever dealt with. i will never hesitate to throw his name out there. mike has proven time and time again to be the best there is to deal with online. it's funny, once upon a time, mike and i were the only ones answering SS questions. now, wow!! it's like i've really moved down the list. which is great!! i love that mike and SS have come so far, it's awesome! soon, i'll be a distant memory and mike will have a secratary answering his emails (she better be hot too!!) and i'll get to cherish the memory that i was one of the first. the neat thing is, we have all got to watch him grow, and i hope, that we get to watch him grow even more! one 15 in that car isn't going to hurt it..100pds or not. besides with all the deadning they are supposed to have, u'll want all the sub and power u can get just to hear it in the cabin... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

i vote for a pair of rl-i 8's for the subs, a memphis belle for power (the mc-1300) a set of memphis msynq 8" componets for up front/rear fill (yep, the midrange/bass is 8") u could then call the car " 8's over canada" or something unlame like that..hehe wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

well, it's good to hear that as the more you play it, the more you like it! my 12 impresses me everytime i listen to it. it just gets so damn low..lol... anyway, with the 500wrms, i would have suggest about 2ft^3 myself..have you tried to slug the current box just to drop volume some and see how it sounds? would be an easy way to see how right i am..lol.. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

though u know what isaac... u and ryan are both right... there should always be a certain level of maturity here or this place will turn into another ca.com...but that level of maturity should also include knowing when something is meant as a harmless joke. basicly, things like that die here fairly quickly, but like anything, when someone shows a weakness, or a distinct distaste for something, ppl generally wann ride it for all it's worth. a person has gotta be able to take teh good with the bad and let things roll off him. especially online, where in the end, it's all just words. nothing more. but on the flipside, we have also got to stay on the ball about when enough is enough. even though in this case, i don't think it even got to the point of being an issue, except u and elias took some serious offense to something that was meant to be totally harmless (like his uglystick joke in the pic thread) in the end, this forum is mature enough to let it go...and move on... and that's enough of this stuff in IHoP!! no more maturity!! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

isaac..enough with the maturity in here!!! arrrrggghhh.. elias, tom, jim....i thought about impala's..but i don't want a fullsize car. and it's not an 18sx..it's an 18 solo x..there aren't very many tdi jetta's in my price range, green pinto would be sweet, the bmw is my favorite so far. today, after work, i'm looking at an mg. nope, the sub won't fit, but it's a ragtop and kinda sporty. as too the hot water heater, i didn't think to take pics , and i disposed of it after wards. i only shot it because it and the mattress were already there. the mattress is residing in a dumpster now and the hot water heater was taken to a lil local recycling place. i didn't know where else to drop it off, we have no disposal facility around here. anyway, i hate when ppl dump stuff like that in the woods.... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

oh, cars i've looked at so far.. 1997 ford aspire (supa was really close there), $2900 obo 1988 cad sedan deville $1800 obo 1998 honda civic sedan $3995 1989 bmw 525i $2995 also interested in honda crx, geo metro and even, get this, ford pinto. don't ask why, i have no clue... elias, i'm hoping to find something that'll get closer to 40mpg+ and after dropping in the boom, still get over 25... oh well....i'm looking wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
