well, with 600wrms each, i'd say u'd be good with about 2ft^3 per sub tuned anywhere from 28 to 34hz, depending upon if u want more spl or sq... i ran mine in 2ft^3, tuned to 34hz with 32in^2 of port and it was awesome! i alos ran it in 2.5ft^3 tuned to 28hz, and while it sounded really good, it really lacked up higher (more because of the box then the sub) here's a basic design... 14"t x 38"w x 24"d port is 12.5"t x 5.5"w x 30.5"l, tuned to ~34hz this works out to 4.2ft^3 after displacements and allows for bracing...the tuning was figured for 4ft^3 even, so with no bracing, u're tuned a lil bit lower... u'll sound really good with this..and be pretty damn loud as well.... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

one port for both, or that size port each? if that's for one, u're good...if it's for both..i'd double it, the area anyway..and recalculate the length.. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

umm, what squeak said..lol. the rl-p's do indeed sound really good and get really loud while doing it. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

KK, i'd wager the rl-i's re louder then the cvr's..or at least equal to them. i doubt seriously ur losing anything..i'd wager that the rl-i's are indeed a big step up. cvr's suck. the box u have planned sounds about perfect as well. i think u'll like the results...alot. who sold their rl-i's btw? and why? wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

yep..i had a brain fart.. for whatever reason, i was thinking 5-6.5 cubes total for both drivers, hence the 50in^3 of port. anyway, anything from about 75in^2 up to 120in^2 would work nicely... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

does indeed sound as though u have smoked one... but how was the tone just for the left side? when i set the gains on any high amp, the tones i use (1kz) are always played troughout the system. and when using said tone, it's always been way clear when u have too much volume or gain, as the distortion is extremely easy to hear. let us know how it turns out.. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
