there are several ppl around my area with multi 8 installs and one prelude with a single 8w7... but then again...there isn't much u can do that isn't already being done.. in reality, neon, ur going to have to do what u want..and i know u knew that..but IMO one sub getting loud is more impressive then 4 subs getting loud... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

well, u gain some cone area..lol..so u should natuarally be louder.. but it's up to u...i mean, a single sub setup is more impressive then multi subs (even 8's) for any givin spl.. but four 8's in the right enclosure would be sweet. then again..everybody is doing some kinda multi 8 thing.. i say...buy another car and put four eights in there..that way u have both!!! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

i agree with ryan...either a single 12 or 15... ur going to lose some spl by dropping to 8's, unless u did 4 of them and then ur running the risk of being just as heavy...but a pair of them would be sweet in the imp =] anyway..that's too serious for here.. and steve... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

no, ur rl-p doesn't have the LMT technology...it's underhung.. but have no fear..it'll pound ur eardrums into submission and sound really good doing it! i love my rl-p (wife won't even let me go near it to remeasure for a potential new vented box)..and can't wait to hear/see/feel my rl-i8. when the LMT comes up, i will for sure try to get my hands on one..but the rl-p is a great subwoofer in it's own right! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
