its also got to do with the perimeter. say you have a 6x6 port gaining you 36 sqin or port. the perimeter of the port is 24 inches. now, make that port 18x2 - the perimeter for the same port area is 40 inches. that is a big difference. Correct-o-mundo. I have no idead what the difference betweeen legal and outlaw is. What they did is tak the mic and placed it just above the right corner of the dash right up against the window. are ya stuck on alpine? there are plenty of other brands out there... but say u are...i'd do the single sub. why? easier install. less room used. and with one sub, i'd recommend low tuned ported. i'd suggest in the 1-1.25ft^3 range for the x, tuned about 36hz. that will give u a nice mix of sql. of course, if u wanted to run the pair, i'd go sealed. about .75-1ft^3 per driver. in any case, u have selected some nice stuff to work with. a good enclosure is going to make ur day with what u have picked out! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

you mean the mercedes contracted cars? mitsu used to design for damlyer (or however thats freggin spelled) but they revolked like half of the revinue toward them and got mercedes to come out with some new stuff cuz chrysler was sucking balls - and they got a few winners to say the least please correct me if im wrong there, but thats what i remember hearing... like i said - IIRC. imagine a pair of 15"mags in the back of your magnum. would be sweet not really contracted, but rather owned by. daimler owns chrysler and IIRC, they own part of mitsubishi(part of buying chrysler who already owned part of). hence why u find those engines in some of the smaller cars. daimler has really helped improve the quality of mopar vehicles...but, no offense dave, after seeing my neighbor's magnum everyday, they are growing kinda old. like i said, at least dave has a color most people won't get, so it keeps his different...and of course, the v8 should sound a whole lot better then the whezzy sound of my neighbor's v6. and in a neighborhood (including my neighbor's own 72 camaro) full of 500hp cars...his (my neighbor's) magnum is just lacking..lol... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
