subs are ok for loud, but won't compare to the ICONS for sq. i have no clue about the quantum stuff, sounds best buy'ish, adn thus stay away from 'ish. personally, in your car, i would do a pair of ICON 10s with teh sundown 1500. might be able to port the pair and help on the output side of things. as to your electrical, it wouldn't like a pair of 1000s and a 100.4 . it'll probably dislike the 1500 and a 100.4, but at least you'll be in the neighborhood. as always, a good strong battery upfront (optima yellowtop at a minimum), paired with the big 3 done in 0 guage is a requirement. and an alternator upgrade if needed. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

did well yesterday, got through the first steps of becoming a correctional officer! that bieng two written tests, one to make sure one can read/write at a 10th grade level and one to test observation skills, a 4 part physical exam and the interview. the written exams were a joke and i'm completely at a loss for our education system. for the first test, to verify we can read and write at a 10th grade level, we had 50 questions and an hour to take the test. i got done in 15 minutes. beat everyone there by 10 minutes easily and got a perfect score. sad news? 6 people failed, out of 42. there were at least three people there with bacholer degrees, one with a masters and at least 20 more with associates. i'm a drop out with a GED. and they get extra points i can't get for having more "education". i was also the first one to finish (again, perfect score) the observation/written exam. that consisted of watching a 1 minute long video, taking a few notes and then taking the test on what happened in the video. we had 30 questions and 20 minutes. took me 7. on both tests there were people pushed to the very end. WTF? oh yeah, one of the 6 that failed the 10th grade equalivancy (<probably spelled wrong, lol) just graduated last year. makes a guy wonder. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

if they bring a K9 and you don't give them permission, all they can do is walk around the outside of the car, at a reasonable distance (can't remember exact term, but it's like shared space). if they get near or in he car without permission, it's an illegal search. if, at a reasonable distance, the dog hits on something, they now have probable cause and can search without permission. one of my best friends is a K9 officer. this has been explained to us on several occasions for various reasons, lol.
