i think any synthetic is worth it, however, i have heard, and even read, that using a synthetic in a real high mileage vehicle could lead to oil burn off. how true this is, i dunno. but by the synthetic being so much slicker, it can get past a set of worn rings and next thing ya know, u've got blue smoke outa the tailpipe.. i use castrol synthetic blend...if i could afford all out wynthetic, it would be either royal purple or castrol... filter wise, i like fram and bosch...but wix is also good like jordan mentioned... try a synthetic...if u get burnoff, switch to a blend.. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

with one sub, and the corrosponding power required, impedence isn't going to be a big factor..except maybe for brand preference.. with wanting to run a smaller sealed enclosure, i'd agree the rl-p would be the choice to make (especially considering ur wanting a sub in aweek or two).. i've got my rl-p in 1.25ft^3 sealed off a hifonics nemesis nx750d..and love it. and by u not wanting ur bass overpowering, i'd suggest power in the same range..750-800wrms..of course, u could get a bigger amp and just keep it set a lil lower...lol.... amp suggestions would contain the above mentioned hifonics, mtx makes a sweeet 800 watter...and i'm having a major brain fart lol.... i'll touch back in here later, when i can put thoughts together...lol... ans welcome to SSA!!!! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

welcome.. the 1-1.25ft^3 sounds about right if u plan on giving each rl-i about 400wrms.. i don't know anything about that amp, however... i would suggest these though.. memphis mc1000d memphis pr1000d orion 1200d hifonics bx1000d and if u decide on something like the mc1000d or orion 1200d, i'd recommend the 1ft^3 box.... i'll try to get a lil reasearch in on that octane amp... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
