i like the memphis sq series. they are soft dome and really smooth. i've got my set ordered through my local dealer. i'm paying $200 for them. compared to my midlevel focal's, the sq's are far and away the better componet set and half the price..though retail is closer to $350 i also like their msync line. it is their midlevel speaker, with a metallic dome tweeter i believe. but it's extremely smooth as well. it is smooth enough that u can run sq's in one location and msync in another and they blend awesomely. whcih is what i'll be doing....6.5 sq up front...4x6 msync in the back. oh yeah, they also have an msync 8" componet set...i believe retail is about $350, i'm not for sure what it can be bought for. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

2.5ft^3, maybe 2.75ft^3....35-40in^2 of port..tuned 30-32hz loud and low baby!!! loud and low! personally, i rund 2.5ft^3, 40in^2 of port, tuned 32hz....the sub will reach lows anyway and the slightly higher tuning will help out the spl side of things... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

real quick... let's compare what u got for ur money... PE cabinet... 3/4"mdf with bracing.. 1" thick grille gluded together only nothing cutout, no feet, no terminal cup and only comes in black textured matte finish prefab lists for $300, but u can get from PE for $149 Kent's cabinet 3/4"mdf with bracing screwed or braided together as well as glued comes in ur choice of colors comes with everything cutout and a terminal cup will have feet if u want them no grille made to order is $225 shipped...... i wonder which one most ppl would buy.... sorry jack, not really trying to start anything, but i think i'm the better deal considering what u would have gotten... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

for a sealed box, yes...especially when PE is selling 3 cube boxes for $150 shipped matte instead of a glossy finish, but that's it... ok...lol....just had to ask... but ya could've just counter offered ya'know? and not settled on prefab or used...lol... 'sides, i don't think $225 shipped(with insurance for more then that amount) is too high for a 2.5ft^3 sealed enclosure considering it was going to be completely finished, smoothed (i was going to resin the entire outside), sanded and painted. and is made to order, instead of enmasse, hence prefab. but it's all good. but i hope the tl works out for ya...any news as to shipping yet? wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
