because i don't believe i will gain anything. the hpo's aren't bad subs and can probably more then keep up with a pair of rl-i's. as much as i like soundsplinter, i don't think one 10 in a larger box is going to outperform to very comparible tens. i have thought about a pair of rl-i's..but i want to try something different... and i have a secret... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

at number 17..u get the option of adding $25 ss credit regardless of what u chose..so if noone else grabs the $40 credit....u could have as much as $65...that would be sweet... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

hey all..... i'm considering a pair of pbx 10's to replace my hpo's (they might be sold)... here's what i got... 500wrms@1ohm (memphis pr500d) about 1ft^3 per sub (depending on subs displacement), with a 3" round port 10 3/4" long (individual chambers..so that's the specs for each side..box already built and in use) about 6" worth of mountin depth....(might be a touch more or less...i'd have to remeasure) so will either of these work in my application? thanks ahead of time... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

i went with the (2)9515's......even if re's cs is better (and i know mt's are proving themselves).there is just something old skool about having dd's and being stupidass loud!! and we all think it's great having ya here! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

hey,hey u made it!!! here's a lil run down on ivoryblade's (from here on in, i will refer to him as ib) situation... ib approached me about a box design for a pair of 10" mtx 8000's...currently residing in a prefab sealed enclosure. 1)well, after some discussing, we determined that he had the wrong impedence, subs are svc4 while he was using an rf 6002 amp,parallel-parallel, which was shutting off on him. a mtx 801d will soon find a home with him.... 2)the prefab box is just about exactly what mtx recommends for a sealed box, so i suggested a lil polyfill to start out. he's wanting a good sql set-up. if the polyfill doesn't work. i've got a vented enclosure designed. 3) i told him to get over here because we kick ca.com's ass!! glad to see u made it ib!! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
