New but loud :)
lol....u mean the rl-p15..hehe mike will have a forum here directly... but email him..he answers in under 24 hrs 98% of the time..even on sundays... there are some rumors..but they are just that for now....but could be confirmed in about a month...hehe...just hold on... even though i've never heard a xxx..from what i've read...i'd put a rl-p 15 up against a xxx15..i think it would be an awesome head to head.... i think the xxx might have more power handling from what i've read, but then again, the rl-p's have taken three times their rating in smaller enclosures..so it would be interesting to see... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

the sound splinter rl-p is really close to a brahma in terms of BL...not for sure of actual numbers... email [email protected] he'd be better suited to answer the xxx vs ss rl-p question also, check out www.soundsplinter.com all the specs are there... what i can tell u is this.... my 12" rl-p in 1.25ft^3 sealed getting 750wrms from a hifonics amp being sent signal from a bs factory h/u is one of the loudest, lowest hitting subs i have heard..especialy considering as u turn up the volume, the factory pos cuts out the bass to save the factory speakers.. all ss subs are underrated for power as mike is a cautious guy.... i know weight means little..but my rl-p 12 weighed in at 30 pds...my 15 treo ss's only weighed 22. they are little monsters..that is for sure... also, ss doesn't make an 18...15 is as big as it gets........for now muhahahahahaha hope that helps some anyway... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

i go it solo...use my 7.25 circular saw, 5.25 trim saw, jig saw, 10 table saw, 10 compund miter box, 10 radial arm saw, 3 joiner/planer, 14 bandsaw and the trusty old drill press(sanding drum). oh yeah can't forget the two belt sanders, orbital sanders and the four cordless drills(14.4 dewalt[dads],12craftsman[grandpa],12 black and decker, and 14.4 ryobi). musn't forget the 1/2 horse plunge router and the black and decker rotary tool.. of course what makes it really nice, i only bought two of the cordless drill(b&d,ryobi) and the trim saw came with the ryobi.....hehe it's nice haveing a grandpa with a wood shop in his basemen..hehe but the main thing..is patience. regardless of what kind of box and what tools...taking ur time makes all the difference in the world. walking away when u get frustrated leads to fewer mistakes...and a better finished product. i love making enclosure's, watching them come together and seeing how well they fit when i'm done. and the ultimate reward is the sound....when it gets low, when it hits hard and when it gets loud...how can you top that? only with.. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
