i just got off the phone with scott, the owner of radioactivity..and this is what he had to say.. when u order and altenator from iraggi, figure two weeks before u get it. scott has been waiting a month for a alt for an escalade..but he says that is par for the course... by being a small shop and the fact that dom goes to all kind of shows (which is what is going on currently,accroding to scott) dom gets backed up (which he already was to start with, according to scott) and things take a little longer. now, i'm not taking sides, i think both sides are still in the right.....hoss because noone has let him know anything and for telling him that it would just be a few days...and iraggi, because quality take time and his stuff is quality.. anyway, hope that helps a little.. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

a friend sold his rf power 800.2 to another friend. this is the same 800.2 that we used to run a pair of 15" id spl's at 4 ohm stereo (the subs were dual 2) and it beat the hell outa them... now the new owner says the amp is smoked..literally...yet when i pulled the case, there was no smoke/fire damage..hell, not even a hint of overheating really. the new owner is running 2 subs, one a he2 that is dual 4, one a boston that is a single 4. he runs everything parallel and bridged...this totals a 1.3 ohm load, correct? i say that the amp is just going into protect...i mean it is just 4 ohm stable bridged, correct? he says i'm full of shit and that the amp is messed up. we have put the amp in my friends truck on a dual 4 memphis hpo..it works fine at 4 ohm stereo. we haven't tried it at 2 ohm bridged becuz i think it will just go into protect.. anyway...i told him i would post this and let the experts tell us who is right and who is wrong. btw..everything the guy gets or hooks up 4 ppl is ALWAYS done parallel, parallel because he believes that is the only way to make subs slam, no matter what u try to tell him about impedence! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

radioactivity, a local shop, deals with him on almost a daily basis. scott will not sell anything but iraggi alts. he has never had an issue with him, even with sending him a competitiors(ohio gen) product to get it rewound after it failed. i don't like the idea of no communication, but i believe his product is well worth the wait. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

the distance could have something to do with the volume...i mean..suv's(esp explorers and mountainers) are loud as hell..almost crx like....and cars typically suc compared to them but the sound difference, well that is harder to explain..and well, i just dunno... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

hey!! u stole my recommendation!!! :soap: get the 3 and get the stick!! more options now mean better trade in later..of course the manual with hurt it a little ... we traded a 626 in on the grand prix...mazda's are great cars. ours was the 2.5 v6 with the 5 speed manual..and even after 65000 miles the clutch felt brand new. also, for an sql sub...by all means check into sound splinter, here, and look into the premium series..or even two of the i series....all underrated powerhandling and sound good..get loud....my rl-p in the grand prix off 750 wrms in a 1.25ft^3 does!! denim, don't let me catch ya doing that again :punch: hehehahahehehahahhehe wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
