  5. ty ryan2, lol. i try. i, too, am a leaver of rubber on the roads. hell, if you don't at least try it in every vehicle you own, something is wrong. i even took teh hooptie mudding yesterday! the hooptie being a 1988 toyota camry all-trac. i had to go around a fence which meant a ditch and a hill climb in muddy grass. the car was pimp! pushed the button that engaged the diff and away i went!! best $1k i've spent on an old car. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  6. T.O.P. page wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  8. i just reread his original post.... IT'S NOT IN HIS 4G RUNS, NOR HIS BATTERIES, NOR HIS ISOLATOR. IT'S HIS REMOTE TURN ON THAT'S THE ISSUE. PLEASE REREAD HIS ORIGINAL POST. there, i've simplified it for everyone, i've quoted his original text. now, address his problem. i'll guarantee it's not in the dual run of 4g, nor the isolator. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  9. lol, but ugly is functional. personally, i like my guns ugly, tends to match their purpose. and i like that third set of grips, might have to see about a pair for the kimber. though i've been thinking real hard about wraparounds. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  13. that is just wrong, lol. $500 for a prefab looking sealed box? and since when are w3's $500 each? and i like how the gasket material looks like it's missing the outer layer, yet the sub is built to competition specs? lol i wish they had a flag button for bs, i'd definitely flag that. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  14. when i bought the g21sf, it was down to that, an xd and an m&p. of the 3, the xd fit my hand the worst. just didn't like the feel. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  15. go to canada, there a few floating around up there. good luck getting one into the us without giving up an arm and leg. friend done tried. also, look for a yugo, real close to the panda in overall layout. he started to have good luck with one until he added real power, then had some issues pop up and got rid of the car. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  16. seems like a nice quick way to check, double check ones math. i like it. kudo's. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  17. In that case get me a few as well i'm not greedy, i'll take just one please. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  18. can't wait for pics captain. i'm a packrat with no room or money, lol. i own my ideal 8 (rl-i), but honestly don't know what i want to do with it. and this IHoP is indeed about the gibberish. matt, brass in the face isn't fun, lol. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  19. i need to do that as well. i've got dies for the .44 mag, but don't even own one anymore, lol. i need dies for the 45, 357 and 40. make life way easier. what you got coming captain? wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  20. either will work. having not played with a Q at all, i'll not give any descripitions of it's abilities. the ICON is a ported box beast. while it'll work sealed, and sound very good, it's output is limited in the sealed enviroment, IMO. jim also hit the nail on the head in his earlier post, make sure you beef up your midrange/midbass area. that will go a long way in helping you reach your goal. ///m5 also has a silverado and is into teh sq side of thigns much more then i, (he's smarter then me too), and his truck rocked out pretty good with jsut an 8. why not mount the amps on the ledge under the rear seat? i have always put mine there and have never had an issue. that will free up all your space, and when you flip up the seat, you'll have easy access to tune. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  21. x2 wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  22. i'm still hurting from friday's chest workout, and we only did three excercises. we are doing the max-ot work out that can be found at www.ast-ss.com. it is intense when done correctly, lol. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  23. we are going shooting today? lucky bastage, lol. i'm short on funds (bought another dog, and had a ticket to pay for) so shooting time is down a little for now. that's not always going to be the case though!! also, buying the boy a muzzleloader for christmas. we both shot them for the first time a week or so back, and i must say, there is something to be said about the thump one gets from a 300g .50cal powerbelt hollowpoint backed by 150g of pyrodex. it is quite satisfing, to say the least. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  24. those people think sq is just being able to hear the highs with all the bass you can muster. you know, a wall in the back, and sixteen tweeters up front. actually reproducing the music as it was intended isn't in the equation. <----- have been guilty of this, lol wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  25. ok, to clarify, you stated, the jl works when the REMOTE TURN ON wire is hooked directly to the rear yellow top, correct? if that's correct, your chasing the wrong problem by looking at your 4g and isolator and all that's inbetween. while i'll agree that the isolator is useless, that you need a bigger fuse on the rf side, two runs of 4g is plenty for your system. you need to do the big 3 and look into an alternator, but if what i stated above is true, none of that will fix your problem. if what i stated is the problem, the fix is within the h/u and the path of the remote wire as it sounds like there isn't enough amperage, plenty of voltage it seems, to keep both amps on. when you installed the relay, how and where was it installed? did you try the 12g wire on the relay? are you using the factory wiring harness ground for the h/u? upgrading that might help. let me know how far off base i am. it's early here, and i jsut got out of bed, but i'm sure i read your original post right. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
