  1. Test fit for the buss bars on the back battery bank. I kinda just wanted to see how they looked back there too. They will be in a box with a cover when finished. Thanks to wgsj_fortvalley/PeachtreeCustomz for the front and back buss bars.
  2. Voltmeter Gonna have to come up with something to cover this at night.
  3. Crimping my old 1/0 for redoing my big 3. I love my new crimpers so much that I decided to hack saw a terminal in half to see how it looks (this one was actually not a very good one compared to my new ring terminals and after having some experience). Ended up hitting my thumb and slicing half way up my thumb nail lol...And sorry, the pic's crappy. But it looks like a solid chunk of copper that's fused together. Hydrolic crimpers ftw. Deka up front.
  4. Gutting process. And my dad getting the golf cart ready for a sub lol. I'll be so happy to get that rats nest cleaned up. Bolting down to where the seats were bolted down to.
  5. The gear
  6. This is my new thread since there have been some changes. I found the width I needed to do a wall and that was my original want, so that's the route I decided to go. Have been planning this for a lil while now. Being busy with school and what not, it has been a long time coming. I finally started the other day though. Just a heads up: Being in college full time, with a ton of papers coming up soon, this will not be a fast build. Just gonna work on it when I can between class, gf, and other things until its done. What's going in: 4 DP21"s 4 SAZ-3000d's (new heat sinks) Maxx-Link 200+ ft. Tsunami Competition 1/0 (5+ 5- runs back) 9 Deka 9a31's (1 up front, 8 in back) 1 DC Power 290 amp alt (for now) EDIT: Was going to be a 4th order designed by iamamp3pimp, but I found some more width and decided to design myself a flat wall since it's the first idea that I was wanting to do. Other misc. things All in an '03 Expedition XLT Big thanks to Robin for the design, I may still go with a 4th in the future. The design Probably gonna do a couple 2x4's in the port instead of one. These are some of the color schemes I'm thinking about. Will match my dust caps lol.
  7. Also remember to keep the loudness feature off. From what I've heard it clips it pretty hard too. So no loudness or bass boost.
  8. Here are some pics of what the wall will/may look like. I'm still tweaking the inside a lil with 45*s and whatnot. May do the port bracing a little differently, I just don't know if that will be enough lol. I'll probably move that one down and do another one as well. The sides that look to be hollow will have 2x4's in them. It will be understood better when the box build starts. There are a couple reasons I decided to go this route instead of the 4th. I feel that I can make this a lot stronger since it gives me more room to work with bracing and such. Also, it was what I had originally wanted to do, but didn't have the room until I took the door panels off. It was also a lot of fun to design. I have been doing it little by little when I get sick of working on my last paper for school lol.
  9. Thanks Is there a way to change the title of this thread? I might know a guy who knows a guy that heard about how to do it. Lol Could you tell this friend of a friend who heard about how to do it to maybe change it for me? And maybe change my first post for me, I can pm what it should read if needed. It would be greatly appreciated. I would like the title to be; 4 DP21 Wall Build Thanks
  10. Thanks Is there a way to change the title of this thread?
  11. Me too, I like it so far.
  12. Here's kinda what I'm thinking. Still tweaking the inside and volume a lil, but here is a general idea.
  13. Haven't been on here in a while, been really busy doing papers. But I was out working in the car and decided to take the door panels off to see how much more room it would give me. Well it gave me a ton more room. So I'm gonna change things up a lil. Gonna go with a flat wall ported in the center, show off the subs a lil lol. I'm putting the finishing touches on the design now. I'll probably start a new thread when I do it because the title would now make no sense, and there is a chance that it will be dead for a while because I still have one more big term paper due at the beginning of May.
  14. It'll be quite heavy lol.
  15. What do you mean?
  16. I don't think there will be much restriction with that big of port lol. Google Sketch-Up
  17. Here's a lil bit of the design.
  18. The bundle under the car lol.
  19. Got all the runs back done today, 10 total. Gonna do a piece of mdf somewhere in here to mount the fuse holders to.
  20. Snakes in a car. LOL Nice build man. Haha thanks.
  21. There's more coming lol. I guess it looks decent now, I'm gonna clean it up a lot when it's all in though. Alright...My phone stopped working completely, can't call or text in out out. I should be getting a new one between later today and Friday.
  22. How it looks under the car.
  23. Nice and neat haha.
  24. Just finished up for today. Got all of the holes drilled and grommets in, and 3 more runs ran. So just 3 more runs to go, I'm running out of places to send the wire down to under the car lol. Almost one spool gone, moving to the next spool. Sending a run down. How it looks up front as of now, quite messy right now lol.
