Just got done drilling all my holes and putting the grommets in. There are just 8 of them here. I'll take pics of them all when I finish vacuuming all the metal shavings out.

Thanks. And I was messing with my dad and gf about the batteries. Once I had them all in I said that I just had to get the other half in. They were both like wtf. I told them that I was gonna do a rack above the ones that are in and get 8 more. I had them going for like 5 minutes lol. I bet the expressions on their face when you said that was priceless. Haha ya. Thanks. There will be a couple more alts in the future. And I'll let you know if I have any suspension needs in the future. And ya lol, she randomly does that and I don't notice lol. That's all I got done today. I didn't get to get started till like 4, there was a "The Universe" marathon on lol. So I only got about an hour or so in between that and working on my gf's car.

Grommet, it's dirty down there. Another hole cut and filed down a lil. Fuse holders will be screwed to the battery rack somewhere, haven't decided exactly where yet. Gotta find a way to coordinate all the wire when it's all in. A good chunk of the first roll used.

Here are a couple of previous setups I've had in the Expedition, from earliest to latest. This was in for a lil while until we put it in my gf's car. My last setup in my Explorer before I got my Expedition. Sorry about the shittyness, they were taken with a Razor back in the day lol.

Since I've never built inside the car before, does anyone have any tips or advice on gluing, screwing, glassing, mounting, etc...?

Wire First two runs back, 8 more to go. I've had my old power wire ran under like that for over a year now with no problems. No drilling through the firewall and stuffing it under carpet ftw.

Haha ya, I like pics. My gf laughs at me because I will do one or two things then take pics, then do it again lol. YES it is lol. And I've grown to like BP's since I build my gf one. That was the first one I had ever built, and it was for two 10"s. This will be my second....And it's a DC Power 270 amp, I forget the model number, I got it like two years in that Christmas drawing that they had and am just now getting around to putting it in lol.

Test fit for the buss bars on the back battery bank. I kinda just wanted to see how they looked back there too. They will be in a box with a cover when finished. Thanks to wgsj_fortvalley/PeachtreeCustomz for the front and back buss bars.

Crimping my old 1/0 for redoing my big 3. I love my new crimpers so much that I decided to hack saw a terminal in half to see how it looks (this one was actually not a very good one compared to my new ring terminals and after having some experience). Ended up hitting my thumb and slicing half way up my thumb nail lol...And sorry, the pic's crappy. But it looks like a solid chunk of copper that's fused together. Hydrolic crimpers ftw. Deka up front.

Use ring terminals to connect the coils at the box. Use bolts for terminals...That's what I'm doing for my next build.

Mechanically, are no negatives to facing the sub up, it depends on what kind of room you have to work with. What kind of car will it be going in?
