New Enclosure for my lil SSD...
I know these are just a few and baaaaad pictures, but i wanna show you what im very proud of... This is the thing the enclosure is made of, a stock part of the car which is in the trunk. Finished (fibreglassed and mdf baffle)... Installed Its 1.4 cuft after displacements tuned to 36 hz.... Sound really nice and because the enclosure is screwed in the cars chassis everthing vibrates Its complete stealth after the orginal plate is over the sub.. I know my language sucks but i hope you understand and see whats done faezich And one last question: Looking for someone who can do blueprints for an spl comp. enclosure (flared port?!?) for my spl car ...?

aero ports
A well designed port of either type will not make any port noise. thats true... hmm seems none is really better.. sry

aero ports
They are better because, if you use them right, they make any portnoise. WinISD is a calculation programm, just throw winisd into google, its a freeware... You add your driver into the programms database and add your woofers TSP's. Then you make a new project with your driver and enter the size of your box and the prefered tuning. WinIsd shows you what diameter of aeroport you should use and the lenght of the aeroport. Just play with winisd and you'll find out ;-)

Soundstream Stealth vs. RF Punch for SSD 10
Hi, need a small powerfull amp for one ssd 10 dual 2. I think about one Fosgate PUNCH P1000-1BD or one Soundstream Stealth Series STL1.1200D. The Punch is BD class and has 1000watts and the soundstream ab class and has 1,2kw... The amp has to be stable and powerfull but most importantly SMALL..... Whats the better choice?? Patrick

Stealth SSD 10 install in my BMW
And what wrong if i put it in 1 cu ft @ 35 hz? New port will be outside so its more than 1 cube... And i only need the sub for backup, not for competition, thats what my next project will be....

Thanks, yeah i like the output of this little thing, it also needs some time to break in. Another thing is that i feed it with about 900 rms and it doesn't move that much.... And lots of Air noise.. Idk what i've done worng, i use a 7cm Aeroport.... Some Help? And i live in the middle of germany, in Bavaria, but Holland isn't thaat far from me, 3-4 hrs...

Lil Sub in the Trunk...
yeah thats no problem for me, a do a lot with fibreglass and that stuff, never on a box but this shouldn't cause problems... Hope the SSD helps my Audio System a bit. Ok, it's not a BTL 15 as in my "old" car, but i'll get a walled car soon, so i don't get out of brutal bass :morepower1:

Lil Sub in the Trunk...
Yeah, but actally it's not mine I want to do the same with the SSD and want to know if this would work fine.. Edit:
