Speaking of which, you know where that stuff can be had at a reasonable price? I've seen it on finished boxes but never used it - would like to give it a shot myself! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't think there really is a cheap liner solution. I think the cheapest I have seen is like $100 bucks on egay or some of those $30 cans o crap from the local autostore. If you find one though please let me know.

Ahh, you make a good point, I didn't really consider that something bad could happen to the driver if something goes wrong. I don't even know how likely it is to happen. So I guess first thing sould be HEY MIKE!! if someone were to volunteer their skills and know how to do an AP or IB setup, would it be okay with you or would you rather not. Again I don't know how fragile a woofer is in these setups but I am hoping you know. If not can someone chime in. Okay so if Mike gives the okay would one of you guys be willing?

Keep the PPI for fronts, sell the PG's and get a single 1000w@1Ohm class D amp for the subs. Keep the JL's wire both coils in parallel, wire both speakers in parallel, which will give you 1.5 Ohms and wire to the class d amp giving you about 450w per woofer. Sell the PB & the PA. Build a nice ported box for your JL's an amp rack and call it a day.

I think you may be misunderstanding what was said. Mike is talking about a demo RING not rig, a few trusted members will be demoing the woofer, giving impressions and sending it off to the next guy. He is not offering to give you woofers for a demo car.

This is a forum not a concierge. And changing the port size to give you that lower tuning will alter the cube of the box not to mention the displacement of this monster. If you want to learn then read up and ask for help. If you want someone to do the work for you ante up. Effort goes a long way....plus these guys work for a living and have bills to pay.

Hey Mike I still have a Viper 2500D sittin the closet along with a porter cable circ saw. Just say the word and we'll be at you pad for a build/demo. Of course you gotta supply your truck as my integra will not fit a 4 cube box before displacements. Hey boss, how about free air or AP testing???? You need to add a "disclosure" to that vid....something like, "the blurring effect seen in the video is not the result of a cheap camera or poor filming but rather a kick ass sub" P.S. being that we are the first 6 to see and comment on the woofer does that mean we each get one free RL-s sample.....huh, huh......buddy ol pal o wonderful guy you....Mr Mike????
