  1. What makes a 16 volt battery smaller than a 12volt? to produce the same amount of power with a 16v/14v you pull less amps. When you're pulling less amps you don't need as large of batteries to support the same current load. Volts X amps = watts Say you have 1000w to produce that you would need 71.4285714 amps on a 14v system, on a 16v system you would only need 62.5 amps which is a considerable difference. and no that's not accounting for efficiency.
  2. Not my cup of tea, I'm starting to hate the fact that dubstep which for the most part has stayed out of the mainstream now is extremely popular, if you listened to dubstep before it became popular its considerably different than what is now considered dubstep.
  3. got home from Florida around 3 hours ago.. long ass shitty drive. probably 16 hours total.

  8. It's all up in the air right now.. too many choices! all fit my budget, the x's and the skars fit my power upgrade-ability/enclosure requirements. Dcons fit my team/price range SO Idk!
  9. The main good reason to do a 16v system in a daily situation is because 16v batteries tend to be much much smaller which cuts down on weight. Higher voltage = less amps pulled.
  10. No problem ask mark or Aaron they should be able to help you out!
  11. He can help you with that
  12. Go through the rear deck? If that doesnt fit, sawsall will fix that!
  13. Very true, any brands in particular that tend to lead the pack?
  14. Looks good, ive always preferred the older Camaro to the newer ones.
  15. I'd shoot Don an email on his site www.sounddeadenershowdown.com he can help you fully to meet your goals instead of going in completely blind.
  16. Long ass car drive top! Just hit tennessee, on my way back to Missouri, I'm in the market for a good radar detector, let's say 300~ I know the "follow the speed limit" argument will come in but speed traps in my area are getting worse and worse, I've been stopped and "warned" for going 4 over the speed limit (which they have the full extent of the law to do). But anyways my budget is around ~300$
  17. Well said!
  18. I'm following but Im not, any solid surface with a hole in it for a speaker could be considered a baffle..
  19. Awesome scores on the lows, im always so much more impressed when the tuning is low and the numbers are high
  20. My bravox are *sorta* in stock locations, still firing in the same direction (I just cut a hole in the plastic to facilitate a home for the Mids. The tweeters are off axis and are super loud it's almost scary. The tweeters are not harsh what-so-ever however they're quite bright. Im kinda scared to hear how on axis would sound with the tweeters seeing how they're so bright. I can highly suggest then for your price range. The 6.5" mid is extremely authorative, with 11 mm of xmax they produce such great midbass and on top of that it's loud (I even said I'm reluctant to put subs in).
  21. I can suggest bravox for your price range, if you can Get ahold of the carbon fiber 6.5s they sound Great and get plenty loud on power. Just my opinion however!
  22. where can i get one of these? and whats one of these run? edit: i think the battery in my car is new but im not sure, and ill get it checked thanks for the suggestion ohjay http://www.remybattery.com/Products/Deka-Intimidator-Battery-Group-31__9A31.aspx
