It's not a car.. you don't have to break it in. You can play it at full volume all day and it won't matter. Breaking in subs for the most part is a myth, yes Fs will drop slightly, but not much.

x2 I had one of those, bought mine for around 50 bucks, sold it for about the same price. as long as the resting voltage is good, i wouldn't hesitate.. if it doesn't last you more than a year then so be it, that's some pocket change.

It's not quite the same...... Nope.. one on that much power is extremely easy, I've seen a burp on an LMS-Ultra at around 40hz for a couple seconds, bam the cone is dead. Thilo needs to use something much stronger for a SPL woofer. Ahhh...i see....while all that is well understood ....why can't you wait until mine fucks up? lol Also how much power was used on that burp? I'm curios! lol Well, it was a figure of speech ;P it's kinda inevitable with 4k of power lol, and if IICRC it was about 4-5k. Ahhh i see! I better be careful when i burp it at 36hz then! lol I'll try and find that video for you, anyways i love the TC subs, just don't like the Alum cones

What vehicle? What upgrades do you have and are willing to do? Big 3, batteries, HO alt, etc? What kind of dimensions are you working with? Did you want multiple smaller subs or one large one? Lastly what's your budget? We cannot tell you how loud something is, it is all vehicle Dependant, there are lots of things that go into something being loud, more so than just the woofers.

Lol can't wait till you fold that Aluminum cone, you're going to have a 4 inch dent in that cone.

Honestly, oven cooked ribs can't hold a candle to actual smoked ribs. Low and slow wins the race, I've been considering building a 55 gallon smoker, just need to find a non-chemical filled 55 gallon drum. Something like This or something more simple like This, but sadly i don't currently have access to a tig welder, or welder at all.
