Possible components issues?
I wouldn't be worried about it being tight on my Bravox Mids the gap is just as tight as your first one. but... the one with the larger gap is odd... Is it that loose around the entire gold piece? or is it slightly closer to one side than the other?

Ticket Questions
Lame, the cop was a dick at first, but I explained to him I had just got it and was "testing it out" and he ended up wanting to see it and when I showed him he said "damn thats bad ass" lol, but, any chance this would also make my insurance go up? No, it shouldn't.. it should be a non-moving traffic violation Phew, thank goodness. Thanks again! No problemo. Just be careful.

Welcome to the IHoP
Yeah you have to shake it after a minute or so. You can make your own pop corn in-a-bag Pour the popcorn in the paper bag and fold the top of the bag over twice to close. (Each fold should be 1/2 inch deep; the kernels need room to pop.) Seal the bag with two staples (no more, no less), making sure to place the staples at least 2 to 3 inches apart. Put the bag in the microwave and cook on high power for 2 to 3 minutes, or until the pops are 5 seconds apart. Remove the bag from the oven and open it carefully, avoiding the steam. Pour the popcorn into a bowl and drizzle it with butter, then toss with salt and cheese, if desired. Done that when we don't have store bought popcorn. cheap to, few cents lol.

Battery Question...
More for your money, the float voltage of a Xs is around 13.4v on the other hand a Kinetik is around 12.4. When buying a battery from say amazon you have to factor in the shipping costs.. You may see the 150 price tag then they don't tell you the shipping is 100 dollars +. I would disagree with your statements. XS power are good batteries, but so are Kinetik. I don't know why, but the XS Power supporters seem to spend a lot of time trying to put down Kinetik's products, but you don't really see the reverse being true. I don't know the float voltage of a XS, but since I had to take my DMM back out to my garage anyways I checked the rest voltage of my 3 or 4 year old HC1800 (that I've never recharged/reconditioned during that time) and it was sitting at 12.9V. Not that float voltage is really an indicator of how well the battery will perform under load anyways. But it seems you are hellbent on "proving" XS Powers superior, apparently even if that means you need to give out inaccurate info.....so I'm not sure I'd trust your XS numbers either. Posting a picture of a swelled Kinetik doesn't prove anything other than abusing a battery will damage it. XS Power batteries will swell when abused aswell, as will any other brand. I'd say it looks more like someone is riding XS pretty hard...... That was in response to what i said. I understand what you're saying.

i was thinking
Fi suggests always using a SSF. Fi suggests that because they are the ones who have to repair the drivers after some kid tries to play a 15hz tone through their sub in a box tuned to 40hz with 2.5kw on a 1kw rated driver because it impresses their friends and makes the sub move a lot. i would never try that. every time my friends are in my car there like "lets here what your sub can do" and they try to turn it up super loud and turn the bass boost on and i say your going to blow my sub then i turn the bass boost off and turn it down to 24 because my HU can go to 35 so i never turn it past 3/4 volume. Reaching for the volume in my car is a good way to lose a hand... or a longggg walk home

No, it shouldn't.. it should be a non-moving traffic violation something like that.. could be disturbing the peace, probably depends where you are. Most cops don't care if you're out on a highway, just make sure you turn it down when stopped at lights when people are near you. I've only gotten a couple warnings. Kansas city has a harsh way with it, little to no tolerance, Liberty really doesn't care.

X max
this is out of something i've noticed, xcon = 31 mm xmax, BTL = 28, Nightshade around 30. Maybe i'm 100% wrong, but this seems common on high performance woofers like these.

X max
Just realized i put 30" I meant 30 mm That is quite a large amount, how do you know? That's what i meant Most performance woofers have around 30 mm of xmax, the icon, xcon, btl, etc pure assumption

Ticket Questions
I've looked so hard for where it says that and I honestly don't see it. lol, but I got the ticket in Springfield, Mo. Who knows I might be blind. EDIT: I HAVE to go to the court for this ticket, does that mean its worse than the average 50-75? D: I know I'll end up having to pay a court fee which is probably gonna be near 80. FML lol Hummm I live up in KC so i'm not sure... there should be two pieces of paper, one red/pinkish with a list of all kinds of fines, and then a carboncopy of your ticket
