Since they rest around 13v 2-3 volts of charging on agm batts is fine
  2. Sucks Kenwood is an excellent brand. I've owned alpine Kenwood Pioneer jvc and by far my favorites were kenwood or jvc made
  3. Kenwood recently acquired jvc. The quality has been upped significantly, I've installed a ton of the double sins and I've seen zero come back with issues, they only really lack features in comparison to the Kenwood unit's
  4. Hazardous chemical fumes?? Me, I prefer contacts and safety glasses. It makes it so I don't have to wear prescription safety lenses everywhere or carry 2 sets. JP8, hydraulic fluid, jet engine oil, etc. Nasty stuff for sure.
  5. I need to get a prescription pair of safety glasses since we're not allowed to wear contacts.
  6. And they last about 1/10th as long. Personally I'd return them. Realize we have different tastes but Oakley lenses are horseshit My last pair lasted 11 years. Current pair is at 5 years. $225 total investment. Drop them once and they are jacked. Personally I can't stand a single scratch on my lenses. Oakley's scratch so easily its absurd. I went through 3 pairs in less than a year, bought MJ's and they lasted until they flew off my head at 75mph on the boat. I drop them daily, wear them as safety glasses when outside. I literally beat the shit out of them and I have no issues what so ever. I find their clarity great as well, especially in the winter with snow blind. I am not on water much, but when I have been with them, again, no issues. They have made me a satisfied customer with no reason to stray, especially in comparison to a substantially more expensive product. IMO if sunglasses last more than a summer either A. You don't go out or B. some kind of voodoo magic, it seems like every pair I get at the beginning of the summer seems to be lost in a lake or forgotten somewhere.
  7. Just went on to the silkroad TOR website.. very interesting to say the least, lol.
  8. Stuff is $321 per liter.. jesus, lol.

  10. I absolutely hate looking for a job. Now that the wife and I have moved out to California I'm in need of a job, no luck yet. I hate sitting around doing nothing more than anything though .
  11. Many of us have had issues with their crap tastic soft parts. I myself and another forum member had some recones go completely soft after about a month of play.
  12. if it's an issue I can change it, but I've been here long enough if it is an issue please let me know .
  13. Yeah my buddy used an old a.c. pump on his b2200 and it worked quite well he just had to rev the engine to get it pumping.
  14. See title would like 400shipped. It's in excellent condition with an external regulator
  15. What about onboard air? Get an old AC pump and use it for air?
  16. I have a tamron 28-200 (very old lense) but I'll probably be switching it out for a Tamron 18-270 for a great daily lense. I have an 18-270 and have to bring it to asia since I broke my 17-55. Fuckin' bummed the 18-270 is awful. From tamron? That's supposedly a great all-arounder.

  20. My plan is t get a couple bulk packs. Priced compared to another B-stock sale can not compete.
  21. Just in case no one has seen, Don over at SDS is having a sale as of 10/20/2013.
  22. Not sure I'd go that far. Really, all they need is a circuit that allows them to be slowly charged and then a means to disconnect them when the battery is removed/car turned off. I would say batteries are much more forgiving, no need for any of that. I've seen a few of these caps explode from over charging and it is scary.
  23. treat them slightly wrong and you have a bomb, batteries are much more forgiving
  24. LP's are fairly easy to spot from the internals. Almost all of them used the T03 case on the transistors and had lots of point to point wiring. Are there any benefits to doing it that way?
