Don t use metric.. I used 38-24 on all my custom blocks. I didn't realize the tap I picked up from HF was metric.. Lol Oh well.. I guess :-/- Team SSAudio 2011 Mustang
It worked out pretty well.. I used the posts to mark where the holes needed to go by tapping with a hammer to make an indentation. Then used the drill press to carefully tap the bar. I'm pretty happy with what came out. The bars make it 500x easier to wire everything up instead of having 3-4 terminals on a single post.- Team SSAudio 2011 Mustang

Oh, and why the fuck are Metric bolts so expensive? I spent more on the bolts than I did the Aluminum.- Team SSAudio 2011 Mustang

But I like my overall job with the tapping. There are a total of 15 tapped holes on each side for my M8 X 1.25 bolts.Close up..Starting to get them in..All the 1/0 connected and bolted downAll neat and clean!- Mixing batteries on my up coming road trip

I have some very thick mat that will add a good bit of rigidity to the roof to keep it from flopping around anymore. We have done this on multiple cars and it has worked great. My initial plan for the roof was to utilize already existing nut plates in the center of the roof.. IIRC there are 3-4 1/4" bolt holes then attach to floor somewhere. How many layers of mat and resin do you typically use? the stuff I have is pretty thick, maybe one or two layers.- 91 Turbo Civic, SounDigital 16KD, 4 15 BTL N2s Walled
