Have the X series subs been discontinued?
Lets just say it'll give most other comparable Chinese companies a run for their money...

best solder type
Personally crimping rather than soldering is my favorite for two reasons, a mechanical connection will always be better than solder which uses tin and lead. Also if you do not support the solder from moving it will eventually crack because it is brittle. I only really solder when I have to, I usually use a hydraulic crimper or for smaller jobs but connectors.

Rockford Fosgate Pro Audio
I just wanted to give a little bit of a review on the new Rockford Fosgate pro audio. My doors are deadened with SDS and that's it, The speakers are installed off axis with the RF 8" mid and the RF Pro audio Tweeter up top. I am running them actively off of my Pioneer Premier DEH-880PRS, I am powering them with my Boss (zed built) Havoc-665 (100x4). The X-over points (roughly) for the mid is 50hz-5khz and Tweeter is around 5k and up. I played several different Genera's from rap to rock and electronic/dubstep music. I first started off by listening to Brown Eyes by Lady GaGa. The kick came through strongly with the piano coming in smoothly. The guitar made my back hairs stand up, Her voice was bright, the harmonizing section came in very smoothly and rang out as if they were singing before me. I proceeded to listen to Intolerance by Tool, The bass guitar came through VERY heavily (which is good!). The drums came through very well, the cymbals were bright and the snare had a very nice snap to it. The distorted guitar sound came through very well as it phased in and out. I changed it up a little bit and put on Beautiful by Eminem, The intro section with the singer's voice came through brightly and rang well. The drum and snare came through very well! I was surprised that there was little fatigue and kept beating through. The guitar in the background rang out beautifully and this is quite possibly one of my favorite songs so far.. I put on Shopaholic (Funtcase Remix) by Wideboys & Sway (feat. McLean). The snare came through as usual, the wobble was low, loud and grimey (good). The bass drum and snare came through extremely well with little distortion. I am extremely pleased with the Rockford Pro audio, the pricing is also pretty great. I noticed very little sound fatigue even after around hour + of high level listen which I was extremely impressed with. I would recommend everyone take a look at them. Here are some Sexy pics!

Welcome to the IHoP
Alright my gearhead friends, I am looking for something to prevent my car from sagging so bad. I currently have Dragbags installed -- but they have evidently gone bad. I was looking into the Shockwaves from Ridetech http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ART-12155401/ , However they are pretty damn expensive. Are there any alternatives to these that are cheaper and can carry around the same capacity? They hold around 1200~ and the stock shocks hold around 200. I'm not really sure what to look at.

For being what they are they actually sound pretty good. They are not as harsh as many other ones out there. Especially for the price the mids are loud, have decent midbass and the tweeters are fairly smooth and not too harsh.

If your box is tuned to ~30hz. Otherwise the SSF on the Rockford is useless. an Inline SSF is fairly cheap .

25% off Diehard Batteries at Sears today only.
Power first imo it's hard to beat that price especially for such a strong battery.

Yes I've said it many times these are rebadged odyssey 2150s and we've pitted them against d3100s and they were only a tenth louder than the die-hard

Is an email with an update too much to ask?
A month wait is very common. It's not like you're the only one out there who has waited that long. It's usually a three week business day waiting time. recones are done once a week in the order they were recieved.

you would never hear a noticeable difference between 1500w and 2000w. IMO that RF 1500 > the Crescendo.
