  1. how many cuft per sub would be good for 2 10" ssds?
  2. Was there a big difference between the 12 and 15?
  3. Alright so I might have to get the 10" ssds. Would it be a big difference from the 12s? If not how big a sealed box should I run?
  4. If you see his truck beat him down!
  5. I have an 04 supercrew but i am getting a 2.5" Seat lift
  6. Then i might have to go with the 10s... what would the 10s mounting depth actually be? Around 6.5"?
  7. glad to hear that but still is it true that the SSD is actually around 7" mounting depth... thats very important because they are going underneath my rear seats
  8. well im a member of f150online and i posted a thread about what i want to get and to see any thoughts and opinions. here yall can just read the rest... http://www.f150online.com/forums/speakers-...yall-think.html
  9. alright im dead set on the 12" SSD and then i heard this for a review... "i hated my ssd's my two 10 d6's will beat the piss out of them all day long(the ssd's were 12's). I've had a D6 12 as well and it sounded better than the ssd's. I will never buy and FI product again. One of my woofers was DOA when I get it. Then I had to pay to send it back then pay for the repairs and to ship it back. Then the woofer worked for like 2 weeks and the same problem happened AGAIN! So I threw them away. I was never impressed by the subs they were just mediocre. They sounded alright but there was some notes they didn't get and they didn't dig very low at all. I had about 750 going to each one in a 2.2 cuft box incase you were wondering. They were upfiring. And the mounting depth is wrong on FI's website. I had to upfire them because they are very very close to 7 in depth. If I would have downfired them then the cone would have hit." Is this true? And would you take 2 10" Diamond Audio D6 over 2 12" Fi SSD?

just found out i cant port them. so any suggestions on how big of a sealed box?
  11. 4X4AUTIGER replied to 4X4AUTIGER's topic in Fi Products
oh wow then ill probably just leave them stock. but what the heck are circle ports? do they not use as much room as a regular port?
  12. 4X4AUTIGER replied to 4X4AUTIGER's topic in Fi Products
already on a low budget. i doubt i could get both of those options. what about just the copper coil? is it a big difference?
  13. 4X4AUTIGER replied to 4X4AUTIGER's topic in Fi Products
oh but should i get any options on the subs or should i just leave them stock?
  14. 4X4AUTIGER replied to 4X4AUTIGER's topic in Fi Products
i was leaning towards sealed because i heard its cleaner and tighter and they are going under my rear seats in my f150 so i doubt i would have enough room for a ported box

Alright how does this setup sound? 2 12" SSDs no options and an audioque 1200D amp? the amp has been rated at around 1400 watts at 1 ohm but the SSDs are 800 rms. would it still be okay or should i find another amp? and if so what amp. around $250 please. thanks
  16. Okay so im going with a 12" Q with the BP option and an audioque 1200D amp. I want to port this sub around 33Hz. How big of a box should i make? I know Fi recommends anywhere from 1.8-2.5 cubic feet but what would be the best? Would it be better to go bigger than 2.5 cubic feet or should i just stay around that number? Thanks
  17. How long do you think that free bp power will last? i dont plan on purchasing the sub for a couple of months
  18. Alright well i just found out that i can fit a 12" BL or a 12" Q... So with that amp which sub would you run? And what options would you get with the sub? Price really isnt that big of a factor
  19. Alright so im deciding between 1 10" Ported BL with cooling and flatwind coil, 1 10" Sealed or ported Q with BP power, or 1 12" Sealed or ported SSD with BP power and either flatwind or copper coil... i will be running a Audioque 1200D amp... what should i go with? and sorry these are my only options due to mounting depth under my ford f150 back seats

Alright so im looking at getting a 12" BL but what features should i get with it? I like the cooling option but should i get the flatwind coil? I listen to country and rap/hip hop. I want some SQ but i also want some people to hear me bumping from down the street. The amp i think i will run with it will be the audioque 1200D which is RMS at 1200 watts but ive heard it is very underrated and should put out around 1400 watts. Will this be enough with the BL with the cooling or should i get the flatwind too?
  21. ill take it. how much you selling it for? and do you have an amp with it?
  22. 4X4AUTIGER replied to 4X4AUTIGER's topic in Fi Products
Yeah but they require a ported box. so they wont fit. trust me ive already talked to alot of f150 people and they said either 10" Q or 12" SSD
  23. 4X4AUTIGER replied to 4X4AUTIGER's topic in Fi Products
not much... under $500... I was looking at the sundown sae 1200D and 1000D. which one would be better?
  24. 4X4AUTIGER replied to 4X4AUTIGER's topic in Fi Products
Alright how big of an amp should i hook up the SSD with bp power and the copper coil?
  25. 4X4AUTIGER replied to 4X4AUTIGER's topic in Fi Products
i have a Ford F150. the sub is going under my back seat. i am getting a seat lift so i can fit a sub with 6.5-7 in. mounting depth... The 12" Q has 7 in mounting depth while the 10" Q and 12" SSD have 6.5 in... i want to give myself some air space
