Single Cab Truck Installs
Just waiting for Jake to build me a good 4 by 200 then I'll sell them to ya cheap Aaron I have the matching 206 and lines on another 209/206 combo for a good price...debating on picking them up and running the 206's bridged to the lotus and a 209 for the tweets. I have a "Denford" 8250 head and PPI DCX 730 that going to take over the source role, and yes I promise to take lots of pic's when I get the time to tear things apart.

Single Cab Truck Installs
Here ya go....2004 GMC Workin' Truck. You caught me in the middle of redoing my amps and amp rack, what I got in there is just temped in on a piece of plywood. I have to deaden the entire cab (doors well done, got time on my hands now for the rest of the month to do the floor, backwall, and headliner....plus a great hookup 10 minutes from the house) before I put it all back together. Truck Keep in mind that I bought this at the very end of the model year Source(s) (spots are on camera lens not my stuff) Driver's Door grill off Amp's (For Now) Enclosure and my Baby Pretty dirty right now, needin some TLC, but that's my single cab work in progress...hope that helps.

Single Cab Truck Installs
Cool thanks. You were one of the people who I was hoping would post. I saw your vehicle description and that you have a 12" SI Mag so i was kinda wondering how you went about it. It's raining like hell right now, but as soon as it lets up....I am off for the rest of the day.

New Mag proto pics
I want to come spend a day watching you "break-in" a proto, gotta be a good time. That is a sad fact, but I get paid for it so what the hell But....I am slow for the next month or so, so I should be around again for awhile. Take your time, I got the amps sold local to a buddy so the PA2 has your name all over it.

New Mag proto pics
Hey Kevin, glad to see you on the board! And also glad to hear that the Mag is still kicking. The 8454 is still in my posession - a friend of my father's tried jip'ing me out of it for $200 recently. Riiiiiight. But, I suppose an update is in order on the proto: The new proto we got was visually spectacular! The moving parts are exactly what we are looking for - a new STIFF paper cone, great surround, spiders, woven (but not really) leads, etc. However, it didn't make the cut. It had some issues with staying in alignment so we tested it thermally and made a few glue joints fail after 15 minutes of 2.8k watts or so about an octave below tuning. Hey Nick....Been busy as hell at work, but things are calming down for a bit, I have a little breathing room for the first time in months. You have a customer for life here, but if you decide to torture test one, let me know, I rack up miles and hours quick (1200-2000 a week) and will be more than happy to take one from the desert to 14,000 feet and everywhere between. The Mag I have now has played cleanly from -30 degrees up to 114 degrees, from sea level to 14,000 feet with no adverse effects....if you don't include the hearing loss When they are ready, put me down for a couple.

New Mag proto pics
Wow, Soooo glad to hear about this, my mag has hit the 100,000 mile mark with not even a hiccup, if the new one is better (still trying to comprehend how that could be possible) then I'm in NO QUESTIONS ASKED.

wOOt!!! Seas Lotus RW165 Mids
Jntar, your review is dead on bro. Throw in some knophler, or clapton, or dylan and be prepared to be blown away. I have mine crossed at 80hz @12 dB and 2500hz @ 24 db. The thing that brought tears to my eyes is their ability to reproduce female vocals... natural, breathy when recorded as such, raspy in all the right places, oh.... just makes me wanna go for a ride. From Madonna to Ethridge to Labelle, they all just sound as though they are serenading you. My test was the beginning of the Zoo by the Scorp's, any speaker that can plow thru the initial congestion would be the one i would stick with. Ding ding ding...we have a winner. I can pick out every instument at any volume level with out breakup or congestion causing distortion. Kick drums on metallica will get my pants legs moving , I don't feel they lack any bottom end in my setup and at their respective xover points. I have found a couple small spikes in my truck that have been easily removed with my EQ, and overall I think these are one of the cleanest mids on the market. you might get more bottom end with adires or re's, but I will put mine up against anything you want to compare them with.

wOOt!!! Seas Lotus RW165 Mids
Jntar welcome to the club I have had my Seas for going on 3 months and the only thing I have say is they need about 150-200 watts to get them to really sing. I have mine crossed at 80 on the low side and 2500 hz on the high side and am impressed every time I sit in my truck. What tweets are you using? I have scanspeaks..(alpine F1's) and love the imaging and clarity with the combo. Changed my amps up a little, have a RF Power 800 driving the Seas, a power 500 driving the tweets and my Orion 1200D running the SS back in a sealed enclosure (yes kent, it is back in your box). Been working like a dog the last couple months and haven't taken the time to keep upwith you guys, sorry, but what a nice suprise to see what you are doing with your truck. I DO have a second set of Lotus just sitting here....anyone want them? just hit me with a PM.

Welcome to the IHoP
I love their head units, but they need to pull their heads out of their asses when it comes to navigating their site.

building a box for my rl-p's
1.25 sealed will rock your world with 1200 watts, dude. Carefull with the gains though, with that much power on tap, clipping can kill your sub quick.

question on new setup / TA
Form one chevy guy to another, give Eclipse a fair shake. the top 2 in their lineup has time alignment capabilites, the flagship also gives you 10 bands of parametric eq'ing as well. Check out the model in my sig, as I am EXTREMEly pleased with this one.

Welcome aboard, and God help anyone who wants to chat on their phone parked next to ya

midbass/midrange drivers
I have heard really good things about those as well. Can we ever be truly satisfied?

midbass/midrange drivers
Just checked out mobilesq, and their site is down, try www.madisound.com, they carry them as well.

midbass/midrange drivers
Go to Seas home page or check out www.mobilesq.com (US importer). I have a second set I rescued out of someones closet, they have never been mounted, check out the specs and the reviews and you can shoot me a pm if you may be interested. I am running mine with some scan-speak tweets, and I have to say with just some minor tweaking on the timing, I have a stage that goes on and on.
