  1. All these custom woofers and stuff isn't needed in the least to get the number you get at frequencies you play. With 4 15"s on 3k we did 150's at 26-33Hz from the bed of a Dodge Ram.
  2. I don't think any of those Wal-Mart batteries are AGM. Or sealed even.
  3. Got to think about quality once you want loud.
  4. i just want louder. i have a battery in the back and 4 gauge wire. i upgraded the ground under the hood but my car had the alternator hidden under the engine so upgrading the rest would be quite tricky. You probably won't gain much adding more power, Type R's can only take so much. Maybe sell them and get bigger woofers? well i would be going from 10" 1042's rated at 500rms to 12" 1243's or 1223's rated at 600rms, in a better box, so i should be close to double what i have now Huh? O_o

  6. Looking great man!!
  7. What are you not happy about with your current system? Do you have all the basic things done? 1/0 wire? Big 3?
  8. Sweet!! More pics!!
  9. You don't NEED one because PWK says so........ Sell the T2000 and find a SAZ-3500
  10. x2222222222222222222 My new friend. P.S. More like a triple team on this forum. P.P.S. 8,19,10,2,18,27,22,5,27,14,2,16
  11. I'll just over compensate. I'll do 4 runs of CCA 1/0 for the price of a single run of pure copper 1/0.
  12. It is going to be for music. Not much interest in taking just that much to competitions. I would still like to get it as loud as possible for just an every day vehicle. Use all 1/0 wire, do big 3, and run a second battery in the rear.
  13. no BTL what mentioned...... what a noob
  14. First upgrade would be to get Duran off your thread...... lol More detail please. 1ohm? Music? Burp? Full power? half power? Car off? car on?
  15. What do you want your system to do?
  16. I'm running a cheaaaap budget, but will upgrade later. At my age, I don't have very much money, so I will probably just buy this combo http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_27501_Combo-+Rockford+Fosgate+PRIME+R500-1+%2B+Amp+Kit.html I'm trying to stay around a total price of $300, I know that really is probably a bad idea, but thats all I have. Its going in a 1980 suburban, so there is plenty of room lol. Don't use age as an excuse. Chances are, me and you are about the same age. lol
  17. You need the wire coming form the front battery to connect to the positive on the rear battery. And a ground in the rear to go to the rear battery. You can then connect amp power/ground to the rear battery.
  18. In the build log. Click here for pictures.
  19. Make sure to put it on 720P.
  20. Well with a dumbass like you behind the volume knob, no they aren't that tough. You are clipping the signal which is why the T1 is messing up, if you clip the signal to an Fi it will have the same result. And the gain isn't a volume knob, it is meant to match the input voltage of the amp to the output voltage of the radio's RCA's. So more then likely, after 1/2 gain, all your doing is clipping the signal harder and harder.
