The Deka's are much better than the Yellow Tops. See if you can fit a Deka Intimidator under the hood. A team mate of mine has a 2400 under his hood, his truck is the same model. Only 5 years newer, under the hood is close to the same. I think I can with limited mod. What I'm probably going to do is get the father to get the Optima new with full warranty from Auto Zone, and I will buy a Deka a few weeks later for the back.

Is the Deka decent at start vehicles? My dad offered to put $200 to a new battery for me, and I have heard nothing but good things about the Deka's. Anyone have any major problems? And how does it compare to the Optima Yellow Top?

I don't know if I would put Kicker on the same level as Sundown. And in bold is the reason we don't like them. And clipped, is when there is a heavily distorted signal in simple terms. How do you set your gains?

I like the AQ amps. Friend of mine runs one on a L7 15" and it beats the shit out of it. Good power.

how long did yours last? my bxi1206 sounded great and still sounds good..i sold my old one to a friend and he's still bumpin it. sounds alot louder than what most people have around here. Probably being clipped to hell and back. Get the BL 18"
