2 cubes or 2.5...any different?
That seems illogical since larger enclosures have higher efficiency. Smaller boxes have a larger peak which may make them SEEM SPL oriented. I have just found that you take the same woofer on the same power, usually a smaller box gets a higher number at the freq it is tuned to then the larger box does. I could have it bass ackwards though

Fi Q or Memphis Mojo 15"s

Box design
No way to tell. Build and testing is the only way to know really.

going active
thats what i was thinkin, but why would you need an processor if you amp can control everything? You would need one of the 3 he named. Either an Active capable H/U, a processor, or an Active capable amp.

Box design
Then the 1200 would be great for you! You will love it, I installed one for a friend. It is pushing an L7 15" to it's limits. Gets pretty smelly.

Fusing your subs?
I worded my self wrong lol Sorry I left out the word didn't. But i can't remember a time when I didn't put more rms power into a speaker then what it is rated for.
-
Box design
You will be able to push the sub without straining the amp to bad. And the amp has more power available.
-
going active
That is an active capable amp.

help with choosing an amp!!!
yeah thats why i said "the sae1200 is actually 1500 at 1 ohm." but i cant decide if 1800 will be better cuz bl is actually 1500 rms Get the 1500, just set the gain right. And smell for stinky.

Box design
Go for the AQ2200, gives you more power, and you can have some headroom.

Fusing your subs?
Were not arguing lol arguing involves curse words. If you can, I would avoid the fuses.

going active
Ok, I been wondering. Kinda what he is asking. What if, I did a two way active. But instead of 1 speakers on each channel, I did 2. Like, instead of 1 tweeter on the left I did 2. Get the concept? And the SAX-100.4 is active capable right?

I like it!! How much power on the LV4?

Fusing your subs?
Are you sure they were fuses and not just a bridging module that looked like a fuse? They do use fuses, I can see the 10 on them. And a shop out here has them, they are defiantly fuses. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_9091_J...+CS-AW8040.html

Welcome to the IHoP
Ok ok lol Sorry I just always called them that. So, how would I get rid of my Multi Channel, Class A/B amplifier, engine whine?

2 cubes or 2.5...any different?
I usually find that, a smaller box is more SPL oriented. But a slightly larger box plays music better. But, it is different with every sub.
-
Fusing your subs?
They are used to stop to much power from getting to the subs. But i can't remember a time when I put more rms power into a speaker then what it is rated for.
