What kind of car did you get? Why does this make you want to re-cone?

They are a little deeper. But I had deeper speakers in there before, with no issues. Having it taken to a glass shop Monday to get a new one, then bringing it back to the shop to pull both door panels and checking clearance and re-tint it.

I had both windows down and both doors open. I was working in the back of the PT, doing some wiring at my batteries. I was double checking my connections, when I heard a loud thud then some glass falling. I got up and shook the door, only to hear glass rattling inside. Tried to roll it up, made it 4" up and sure enough it was destroyed. I was 100% alone, and have no clue as to why it happened.

What type of sound processing do you have? Or is it straight off the factory radio?

The installers at my shop don't use a DD-1. I'll put it this way, find people with the loudest systems in your area. Ask them who used the DD-1.... You'll be surprised at how many didn't use it. But yes, it is very nice to have someone understand it's not the woofers fault that it broke. You're more then welcome to stay here man.

Only way to know is to pull them out and have a look.

Picking up this new truck tomorrow, it's a 1997 Nissan Hardbody. It has 207,000 miles, with the optional Power Steering and Cruise Control. Just needs a few A/C parts and HID's and she's good to go. Buying a Pathfinder hood for it tomorrow, and possibly 18" 04 Nissan Titan rims. lol

DD amp is a amp that will appreciate. The NS-1 will not. I believe the Z will also do more power, and run .25ohm more stably then the NS-1.
