CCA vs OFC is there really a big difference?
Very informative thread for sure! I've always used CCA based on the price difference. I can run 3 runs of CCA to one run of OFC, which carries more then?

The PT Bruiser, 159.5db!!
My Ex's dad bought me the PT two years ago, and we just put it in Tiffany's name. Tiffany and I split up about 2 months ago, and I gave her the car back. I didn't have to, but wanted to. It's definitely helping me move forward with everything having the new truck. The truck is a 97 GMC 1500 Step Side. Lowered 4/6. 5.7L. Big plans for sure. Just have to replace a lot of things first. Moving my box from Tiffany's house to the shop.

2001 Pt cruiser wall build ........
PT Cruiser with a wall? Who does that?
-
3 ported on 1500 or 4 sealed on 2K
I would personally go for the 3 ported over the 4 sealed. As long as the enclosure is correct you should have much better output then the sealed box with a wider range of notes.

Apology
I don't know what happened, but

if you got to pick
DD Z3 actually sounds pretty good playing music as long as it's not in a fart wall/box. Fred's Explorer the Street Beated in the 160's had 4 of them on 8 Sundown 3500's, and it played music exceptionally well.

Kenwood vs Pioneer SQ and Ease of Use/ SQ setup
I'm at work so I didn't read the whole thread, but the Kenwood 896 is an older unit, and is second to highest. If you looking for a high caliber of radio look into the Kenwood KDC-X997. http://www.crutchfield.com/S-7SV5bOv5cyX/p_113KDCX997/Kenwood-Excelon-KDC-X997.html 13-band equalizerSound Excellence DSP with speaker size settings, plus high- and low-pass crossoversdigital time alignment3-level bass boostlow- and high-pass filters; subwoofer level and phase control

Which DSP do you use?
I love my 3Sixty.3, simple to use helps improve the sound a lot.

The PT Bruiser, 159.5db!!
Still through Mike Singer. Retail probably in the $600 range. Thanks man I appreciate the input, awesome build! Can't wait to see whats next! Unfortunately there won't be anything next, the PT is getting retired and I'm starting a new build in my truck.

The PT Bruiser, 159.5db!!
I'll be running the car on a 12v system using Stepdowns from XS Power.

The PT Bruiser, 159.5db!!
Unfortunately it is indeed on. lol The car says "Alternator not fully fielding" If only it knew. haha Yeah I was afraid of that, or even worse, like a fried PCM (these mopars are super touchy electrically), so I instead went with a MLA dual voltage boost mod. I can charge at 14.6 (low) and 15.4 (high) and my battery light has never been on! If you ever get tired of seeing that light, that's the way to go! (Besides getting the PCM re-programmed) Man I still can't believe those numbers! This gives me a lot of hope for my build being loud as well! I'm not to worried about it, I'm going to open the dash up and pull the Battery light and check engine light out ASAP. Once I don't drive it everyday it will get bumped up to 16v system so I need the regulator. And thanks man, I'm working hard on this thing. Next step is a upgrade to a 6 Phase 300 Amp Hairpin alternator. I"m definitely seeing more power then the Single M4a for sure. Just need to keep them on when I burp at .25ohm. They keep protecting.
