  1. Can someone show me some properly installed horns? And link me to some good high quality horns? I know some have already, but do it again to humor me. I would have no idea how to work with them.
  2. Should be nice build. I'd definitely look into mounting the tweeters up high, will help a lot with staging I hear.
  3. I might be ordering CLD and MLV soon. No a lot, just enough to put 2-3 layers of CLD on everything in front B-Pillar and 4-5 layers of CLD on doors and a layer of MLV on everything.
  4. I would go for at least 4 large batteries in the rear, and at least a single large alternator under the hood, 240+ amps.
  5. The shop visit is pointless. They probably won't know the real answer. What year/model/make of truck?
  6. I'd just a good 2-4 channel on them. What's your budget? And have you bought those yet?
  7. How much airspace do you have to work with?
  8. Damn sexy! I just creamed a little!!
  9. ill friend request you on facebook. then check my pics theres a couple in there she will be back on the road this weekend! I can't find them.
  10. Hey Mac, Pics of Evo please?
  11. WTF? Then you Ninja Edited it.
  12. The world is for sure getting stupider. My Lord.
  13. 15"s are your best bet.
  14. This is not true. I went from a 4v radio to a 5v radio and gained almost a full db. Granted the two radios were on whole different spectrums when it comes to performance. But none the less, there is a noticeable difference. Can you prove the gain was solely because of the difference in preout voltage? Yes, I changed NOTHING else. A few people on here can attest to it. Simply switched radio's, and I went from a 150.6 to a 151.4. There is alot more to a radio than the preouts. I will stop there for the sake of staying on topic. Like I said they where two different radios. lol The one I switched to is nearly impossible to beat. lol I still say Kenwood, and I can probably get you a deal on one.
  15. I hear Mike Singer has some very good alternators right now. Mike Singer? Sorry dont know who he is does he own a Alt company? No he does not, I'm not sure where he gets them. Go though Mechman if you want a specific company.

  19. Not saying the interface is bad, just the parts they use to make it are junk. We had a Kenwood double din in Kyle's Tahoe Streeting a 154 daily. With ZERO issues after over a year. our friend has a Pioneer Double din in a 150 burp truck so high 140 on music, and it's dying already after only 2 months. I would pay as much as I could afford to get the best Kenwood, as it will be well worth it. And.... from the Kenwood site. "5V Preamp Outputs (Front L&R, Center, Rear L&R and Sub) " You are making some pretty bold statements Drew. Do you have any expirence with a Pioneer AVH-P4200DVD? Like most other Pioneer's I'm sure. Front, Rear, and sub at 4v.
  20. After this long and this much trouble, I'd be refunding him AND sending his alternators to him. FREE.
  21. Going to have to do more then 45s in the corners, going to have to round the corners on the inside of the box for a smooth airflow.

  23. What is the reasoning behind this, I found that it does indeed sound better to under-lap, but why?
  24. Andrew is getting better at boxes!
  25. This is wrong, I wish you would stop posting until you learn about what your posting. Glue creates a stronger bond then the wood itself. You just need something to hold the wood together while the glue dries, I see some people use nail guns to hold the wood together while the glue dries. One the glue dries, you could even go ahead and pull any screws out.
