Up against the rear seat perhaps? Think of the top picure flipped around (port on bottom) ... the slant will go the other way (IE: fit up against the slanted seat back).
  6. That's what I thought before I read the thread, too

Looks nice I bet it'll fit the GA perfectly.
  8. Dude that guy got THROWN out of the car onto the ground hard
  9. Dude that cokehead was a great guy eh.
  10. Looks just like the coke-head who was on COPS five minutes ago ... dude was high for four days straight and couldn't even stand up. Got kicked out of the hotel he was staying at and took the extra roll of toilet paper

  12. Perhaps we can help them along a little bit
  13. 1. Depending on the vehicle, it could be a pain in the ass ... or very simple. Half an hour, or an hour and a half. $30 doesn't sound bad at all really. 2. Depends 3. $25-$50 4. It depends on where everything is and exactly what you're doing. If wiring is a pain, it's a pain. If the speakers are in the doors, running new speaker wire to them could be a pain. If the speakers don't fit well, making them fit could be a pain. The "could be a pain" 's add up, which = time. Time = $. If a friend comes to me asking for any of the aformentioned, the price would depend on the person I'm doing it for. I haven't charged anyone for a head unit install I've done in my own driveway, on my own time, with my own tools, and with my own parts. The person I would charge though ... is the dickhead who stands around with his finger up his ass doing chit all, whereas I wouldn't charge the person looking over my shoulder or asking questions, or helping tear the vehicle apart or run wire ... so long as they did it right so I don't have to go back and do it again. $100 to run wire + install sub, amp, head unit, and a pair or two of speakers isn't very expensive when you consider how much a shop would charge. Most places are $50 alone for the head unit. It's a tough call for me usually. I don't like charging people because a) it gives me something to do, B) sometimes they are willing to learn, c) they have seen my work somewhere else, liked it, and want something similar, d) I don't want them paying out the ass for a chop job at a shop, or e) I know they paid too much locally for the equipment they bought, so I'd rather them not get further ripped off. Support your local shops all you want, but the one other shop in my town makes me throw up in my mouth.
  14. I would've absolutely cleaned up at that event.
  15. So what did everyone pick up? You bastards better have taken advantage of it
  16. No kidding. Would be the chits.
  17. Weyburn, eh? Know a dude over there playing baseball right now.
  18. Better than the real movie I took five minutes to watch it, and it's great. "it don matter if you win by a snickers bar or a footlong pastrami" http://www.muchosucko.com/video-theslowandthecautious.html
  19. I hear ya and feel the same way as you.
  20. I can't really think of anything right now off the top of my head that is missing in the 'industry'.
  21. You're going to have to help me with that one when the time comes. I'll be listening to Athena, JBL, Infinity, Polk, etc floor standing guys when I go on vacation. Be interesting to hear what a $750+ pair of speakers cost. Hopefully I can look back and laugh at them because I only spent just under half of that. Of course these speakers won't be in the exact same room as the one my towers are going in, I'd still like to hear a bunch of them so I can compare.
  22. Dude, there will be a chitstorm of pictures when the stuff gets here ... no worries. I'm getting ten speakers ... so that's gotta be like 40 pictures right there. Ports, binding posts, xover parts = another 30 or so I'd imagine
  23. Take it to the bank and they'll give you eight cents back.
  24. *Adds USB hub to shopping list* Hopefully FutureShop has one priced reasonably well. Definitely getting a new laptop next year when the office upgrades equipment.
