Uhhh ... measurements ... right, yeah ... tomorrow if I get a chance.
  2. Well, she got it towed to the garage. The entire fuel pump module needs to be replaced. 600 pucking DOLLARS FOR A pucking FUEL PUMP I'm fed up with this domestic bullchit now. Guy at the shop said that you shouldn't let your gas get below half a tank, or else you risk screwing the fuel pump up. Says he has it in writing in his little mechanic booklet there. My father drove for 36 years, my mother has 34 years, and my wife and I combined have 22 years driving experience ... for a total of 92 years. We have all let our gas gauges drop down below half ... and haven't messed up a fuel pump. Sooo ... I don't know what to believe as fuel systems are not one of my strong points at all. 'Technically', it seems like it makes sense ... but I don't know. People run on fumes all day, every day ... dropping in 5 bucks worth once a day and they don't seem to have any problems (well, at least not the people I know around here). Anyway, the only domestic vehicle I'd buy now would be a 4th gen Camaro or something from the 60's where you don't have to worry about this electronic horsechit. And yes, one isolated experience has turned me right away.
  3. Both my versions of XP and Pro are 100% legit and legal.
  4. Wife is stranded two hours away. Car turns on, but doesn't stay on. Piece of chit Chevrolets. Piece of chit 3.1L. Regular tune ups and I get this? chit like that should never happen on a modern car. Just went in last week for an oil change and they did the transmission flush because it was at that KM rating. Came home and I noticed that the tire was leaking air from around the valve stem. So I brought it back in and they changed it. Pricks probably fudgeed me over under the hood somewhere because I caused them an inconvienience. Great, more money to spend. Next car is an import. And almost every single vehicle I've owned has been a GM. Amazing how you're going along great one week, then all of a sudden ... BAM! God or whomever decides to chit on your head.
  5. I'm SOL there I'd buy you a new set, though
  6. Nice I loved those things.
  7. CA.com licks balls. No one should be sad that the "server is busy." The server isn't busy. It's one of two things, and it's happened before ... 1) The admin is doing stuff to the board and thinks that it is better for business if he puts up a "Server is too busy" message instead of "Retard at work" message. 2) The admin has created a bunch of usernames and signed all of them on to the board, just to make it look like the forum actually gets some sort of traffic. When, in all sense, it only pisses people off.
  8. Ah cool ... thanks Kent
  9. Cute ...
  10. Right in your own bloody driveway. It'll give the people next door something to talk about for a week. I've used the old "Sorry, was trying a new method to kill the bugs around the garage. Apparently smoke deters them from hanging around" numerous times.
  11. Idiots. http://www.caraudio.com/vb/showthread.php?...2224#post862224
  12. I am really, really bored.

I'll have to grab some measurements. Keeping the box low + wide + long would work best. Be nice to keep it to one sheet of MDF ... as I just happen to have one sitting here. Probably won't happen, though. 10-12 cubes would be nice. Unless I can figure something out with this PR ... which is doubtful.
  14. Lookin' good

Yes, I want to shake the car to chit. Be fun having no back seat and some huge pucking enclosure there again.
  16. thats worth a If the wife'll allow. I know for a fact she won't. That's fine. I'll find someone with long hair and have them stick their head in the hatch.
  17. Great ... and the dash is exposed to the sun every day for as long as the sun is out - unless I manage to park in the shade once in a while. Ugh. I think I need to get a dashmat then.

    2.76 cubes tuned to 23hz ... yikes.

As much as it'll take ... 5, 6, 7, 8 cubes not a problem. I planned for a wall and came up with over 16 or 17 cubes. I do have that single 18" PR here too ... Josh figures it may work ... however, two is ideal / the way to go.
  20. Ryan ... you and I have almost the EXACT same bloody routine.
  21. No kidding. Get that paint protected properly.

Actually, speaking of that ... anyone (Nick, Ryan?) want to suggest a ported enclosure size + port area + tuning?
