Around 1500 watts should be plenty for daily driving. Will depend on the overall enclosure size as well. Power might be cheaper if you got the DVC 4ohm drivers and wired them to 1ohm.

I've always liked the IDMAX. Haven't tried anything from eD's new lineup yet. Hopefully someone else can pitch in ... like Jamie.

I'd personally run just one good set of 6.5's up front and ditch the rear 6x9's. But that's just me. Anyway, listen to both brands and see what you like and what you don't like. They're your ears ... not ours. You like different things than I do, and different things than the next guy. Who cares what I think about them ... you're the one listening to them every day. Best thing to do is listen to everything within your price range. Or bite the bullet and order something online.

I don't keep my complete albums on my computer. But random songs ... "All Music" folder --> Genre Folders --> Artist Folders --> Songs. I don't have enough to throw album folders in the artist folders. Use the newest version of Windows Media Player. Sometimes RealPlayer (rarely though ... just have it for streaming internet radio).

Nice work on the 10K guys. And jntar ... that song beat the piss out of my car. My ears have been starting to hurt from cranking the uberwoofer a few times. No more of that, that's for sure. And to imagine that it's only at volume 23 of 35 on my Alpine with no clipping and it hurts to listen to ...
