  1. Do tell about the HT goodies I've picked up Josh Laine's custom designed HT driver, built by TC Sounds, a Power Acoustik A2400DB, and a KnuKonceptz 1/0 gauge kit. - Steve
  2. Welcome to the forum! - Steve
  3. Just too squished together. I like the font in the first one though. Just need a "2005" to look cool somehow. Don't need to worry about a background so much - that can come after. Finding a key font/text is what I need right now. - Steve
  4. What amps will you be using? Plan on a MAJOR electrical system upgrade? Willing to give up the entire cargo bay? Will this stereo be used daily? I'm sure we'll be able to help you make the best choice for your situation. - Steve
  5. Can any of you Photoshop wizards whip up a couple logos for me ... don't need to spend tons of time on it, just a simple logo. All it needs to contain is "2005" ... it'll eventually wind up on my vehicle somewhere. Color can be used. A cool font is good - straight lines is cool as well. Doesn't have to be too large. Size 30-40 is plenty. I like backgrounds such as ... ... the lighter blue part. I seen some other examples somewhere where there was text was blended into the background. Thanks for any help. - Steve
  6. Looks good man - that's one massive enclosure. - Steve
  7. All ordered ... will be here next Monday or Tuesday. - Steve
  8. Exactly what I do --- check to see if there's someone in it and then leave. Need to have a set time at night or something - or send the link out to a bunch of people over IM's at night. - Steve
  9. I have it all written down on a piece of paper here ... and looking at it now confuses the heck out of me - however, when I look at the bottom of the page and see the Canada price cheaper than the US price - it makes perfect sense. "Did you know?" Click the following link to read the article - http://www.mytelus.com/money/news/article....ticleID=1742434 - Steve
  10. I think I'm going with the KnuKonceptz 1/0 gauge kit, use my RCA cable, and get some remote wire and speaker wire from them as well. Total somewhere around $90 USD for everything. Little expensive it seems, yeah, but it's a hell of a lot cheaper for me. Welding supply, $25 + shipping, which equates to a total of $55 CAD + 14.5% tax = $63 total for just the wire. Then it's another $43 from SoundDomain which is $54 + 14.5% tax = $61 total. So there, I'm aleady above $120 and don't have speaker wire nor remote wire. - Steve
  11. So you're looking to send each 15" driver about 2000 watts RMS ? - Steve

  14. As you know, a Power Acoustik A2400DB is in transit to my house via UBetterNotScrewUpMyPackageSPS Air Mail. Wire ... wire ... wire. Wire. I can get a Power Acoustik 2 gauge kit (complete) for $24 USD + $20 to ship it since I'm in Canada. However, it comes with an AGU style fuse and fuseholder, which will not cut it. So I'd be upgrading to an ANL style fuse and fuseholder. So I'd be paying $44 for the kit, plus another $43 for a fuseholder and fuse - which puts me at $87 USD. KnuKonceptz has a nice 1/0 gauge kit. Doesn't come with an RCA, but that's not a big deal because I have an extra on here I can use. Of course, KnuKonceptz does NOT ship to Canada. That's a $70 USD kit which includes thicker wire @ 1/0 gauge, and the proper ANL fuse holder and fuse. Also included are four ring terminals. Remote wire = no big deal @ 10 cents a foot. Now, if I tried piecing a kit together in Canada it would work out to be $65 USD, JUST FOR THE 1/0 WIRE. 1/0 would be ideal to run, no upgrading later on. RCA isn't needed. All connections needed. Power wire + ground wire needed. Remote wire needed. ANL fuse holder and fuse needed. Suggestions as to what to do since the amp will not accept 1/0 gauge, besides trimming the only thing I can think of is a fused distrobution block 1/0 --> 4 maybe a foot before the amp. Suggestions welcome and needed. - Steve

My panic is over. Power Acoustik 2 gauge kit will be ordered on Monday as payment information will be confirmed tomorrow. - Steve

Well, what do you think I should do - 2 guage or 1/0 ? Run the 1/0 to the back to a fused distro which cuts it down to 4? I highly doubt the amp will accept that ... and a fused distro is more money on top of everything else. Bah ... just need a damned 2 or 1/0 gauge kit. I tried putting one together myself at SoundDomain, etc ... but the power wire along is more than a complete kit should cost heh. - Steve

Of course ... that place with the Power Acoustik kit won't ship to Canada. - Steve
  20. Haha that's awesome ... would've never expected that. - Steve

Who pinned this? Oh, forget getting wire seperate at GCA ... not going to happen at close to four bucks a foot. - Steve
  23. Chevy350TPI replied to Chevy350TPI's topic in Photography
Maybe I'll talk to Jon @ GCA and try and piece together a kit - it's in Canada so it would be cheaper. www.genuinecanadianaudio.com Have the KnuKonceptz 4 gauge kit, which I don't think is enough ... too bad they don't have a complete 1/0 or 2 gauge kit - oh well, maybe I'll piece it together. - Steve
  24. I love the layout ... so simple ... aesthetically pleasing ... easy to follow. Nice Prix - Steve
  25. I don't think he'll ever see the light, Kent Glad to see you around man ... hopefully you'll be around more now that you're somewhat settled. - Steve
